Sticky Thread Sticky: DON'T LOOK PAST the BASICS

From what I've been reading in this forum for the past several years---and it's getting worse, not better---most posters here are, for some reason, missing the basics of fat loss, and instead, are looking for some magic bullet, or worse, putting their faith in some TV or youtube guru, or some...

I used a lot of calculators and it says i burn about 3000 kcal/day. There are 4 days in the week where i am outside for most of the day and dont think about food, so i only wanna eat 500 calories on those days. I tried this once and ate around 6pm and was stuffed for the rest of the day. The...

Crossroad in my fitness journey

First time poster. I've been on a big fitness journey this year. I started on 1/15/19 at 26 years old, 5 ft 5 in, 148 lbs, 35 in waist. I had to deal with binge eating, which was holding me back for years, and I decided to get my workout and nutrition in order. Over the past 11 months I've...

Hey dudes... I’m about to get into my second cut... 216ibs

Hey guys!!! I’m currently sitting at 216.5ibs, I’m 5’8 and according to my DEXA scan I did today, I’m 24%bf. Not ideal. Most of it is around my waist and inside/back/ some chest. How feasible is it going to be for me to drop to 175ish, if I start my cut in January and end around June. I...

Working out fasted/am workout nutrition

It’s not ideal but how bad is working out fasted? Looking at reasons why I miss sessions and it’s because work. So to combat thinking about lifting before work. Thing is I start work at 8. Alternatively how would you Setup your nutrition if you are up @5 and lifting before work? Thanks

Help losing fat but gaining muscle mass

Hey, I'm a 25 year old guy weighing 290 lbs. Most of my weight gain was due to anxiety, something that runs in my family. I was terrified every time my heart rate got high and shied from physical activity. I've overcome this, however I don't quite know how to proceed. I'm likely sitting at a 40%...

Fullbody fatigue

So I’ve been running fullbody for a few weeks and realized a couple of things. I’m not growing as I did in the past with this routine. But also I noticed I’m more mentally fatigued vs physically fatigued. Like I don’t feel that I got workout in but I’m tired. Anyone else experience this?
