Question Does Riding a Stationary Bike Burn Belly Fat?

I work out at home. I ride a stationary bike everday for 40 minutes. Can I lose weight only by riding that bike? Or are there more exercises that I need to do to burn belly fat? And also I lift weights (8 kgs), does it help to burn fat? Thanks in advence.

Do we lose waist inches faster towards the end of our cut?

Because 'volume of a cylinder' when our stomach fat is losing a steady rate, do the inches drop slower at first and then speed up at the end? I know scale weight slows towards the end, but that's no big deal if the inches are lost faster at the end. Something to look forward to if it's true.
