Not losing fat.

This is a more infomational post. I decided at about: 25% body fat, 85kg; that i would do a cut. I started eating less and in about 3 weeks i lost 6kg but my body fat stayed the same 25%. My question is what did i lose and what should i do? Thank you for any information

Calories for strength / increasing

Thanks to some great information in replies to earlier threads I’ve made I know with my still high BF% while cutting I can gain some muscle and maybe some strength. I was just wondering, as it has crossed my mind, if I ate at maintenance would I make greater increases to strength at my % ?
