How To Lose Weight On Bipolar Meds?

I have honestly tried going on my meds ,and didn't end well. I'm on a drug called *edited* ,if you're lucky then you just gain some weight ,and that's my case on that drug. I managed to lose some weight ,but it's to get back to my goal weight on bipolar meds. What do you suggest I do.
