Question Peanut butter makes me gain weight

HIIT question

If I do HIIT 3x a week after my full body routine will it aid in fat loss or just make me lose the muscle I am trying to retain while losing weight? I walk 1 min and then run 1 min on the treadmill at an incline I do this for 15 minutes with 2 min warmup walk and 2 min cool down after.

What are the best signs to know if your not losing muscles when cutting? I have been keeping basically the same weight on the bar and the total volume the same as when bulking, no strength loss so far. Also what is the most important things to do to prevent muscle loss when cutting.
