Tanning tips for female bodybuilders

I'm fairly new to bodybuilding, and I was wondering if anyone has good tanning recommendations to highlight the muscles on my body. For someone with fair skin like me, how dark do you recommend going? Do you recommend a spray tan, airbrush tan, or tanning in a bed? Any other tips are appreciated.
