Is it still recommended that protein intake increases when cutting?

Provided that I’m eating above the minimum recommended protein intake, is there any benefit to upping protein intake when cutting? I’ve actually done the opposite when going from bulking to cutting where my protein intake decreases but I’m always above the minimum regardless

Growing on .5g to ,6g / lb protein intake?

On about 1/3 of my days I get about .6g/lb of protein, sometimes .5g/lb (The other days are at about .7g/lb). I know, not ideal. It's not a good excuse but I tend to like and eat a lot of fruits which messes up my ratios. I do get my surplus in every day though (3,200 cal or a little more). ...

Beginner Diet Question

Hello, I am an ectomorph looking to put on some weight. I'm attempting to eat around 3200 calories a day. My macros are 472g of carbohydrates, 168 grams of protein, and 71 grams of fat. Does this seem reasonable? Any red flags with those macros?
