Why is the BMI equation needlessly complex?

srs... If BMI is just a formula calculated based on height and weight... why can't you just use height/weight to get a ratio? Why did they instead throw in a bunch of extra steps?

Does dehydrated food lose macros/calories?

So, I had a peeled grapefruit that I chose not to eat, so I weighed it and subtracted the resultant 172 g from my totals. I put it in the refrigerator overnight, and today when I weighed it, it was 157 g. So, do I enter it as 157 g or 172 g? When the water evaporated, did it also lose the calories...

is 300+ grams of protein too much?

so recently I have been eating about 300-340 grams of protein a day, 160-200g of carbs a day, and around 60-80g of fat. After doing some research I found that 300g is way too much protein. Currently I am trying to cut at a little below maintenance but keep protein intake high in hopes of burning...

Do you NEED to bulk?

If so is a clean bulk (around 300 cals over maintenance) or a dirty bulk (500+ cals over maintenance) better? If I decide to bulk I will do so next fall as it is too late now to get cut for summer. Back to the main question, can you really not gain any muscle without being in a surplus? I feel...

I tackled some things like common myths, ancient/modern history of the diet, my theory on why America doesn't want you to know about it and why it's actually the most optimal diet for a human being. I would appreciate if you aren't immediately dismissive and tried to at least skim through some...
