Post moderate blood sugar levels bulking

Does regulating your blood sugar levels benefit you in terms of bodybuilding? I know eating fast acting carbs in the morning and post-workout is benefitial, but does it make a difference having stable blood sugar levels throughout the day(expect those instances) benefit you more than not minding it?
