Macro ratio irrelevant or important?

Bros, Can you help me settle this once and for all?. Are macro ratios irrelevant? If I need 4kcals, and based on a weight of 100kg. If I get my minimum 0.8-1.5 g protein/lb lean body mass and minimum 0.4g fat/lb lean body mass, that equals to 1720 kals 4000-1720 = 2280 remaining cals. If I...

Is it still recommended that protein intake increases when cutting?

Provided that I’m eating above the minimum recommended protein intake, is there any benefit to upping protein intake when cutting? I’ve actually done the opposite when going from bulking to cutting where my protein intake decreases but I’m always above the minimum regardless
