6,000 Calories a Day..... Enough for bulking?

Short and to the point with my goal... I've been training for (5) years straight. I've went from 135 to 190 over the (5) years. I'm currently trying to put on 15 lbs, get to the 205 range, than switch to a cut and a SHRT style of training. Does 6,000 Calories seem like enough to pick...

Question Best protein absorbing practices?

Lets go into a dream world for a moment. *cue sparkly dream sounds* "Lets say you have unlimited time to work out and unlimited protein powder, your also eating a meal/dinner a day and multivitamins to get your 100% ratios in." So in this scenario, google says you can absorb around 10g/hour...

egg noodles

Hi, im pretty much a beginner. Does anyone have any opinion/facts they would like to share in regards to egg noodles, namely; hokkien, thin egg noodles etc, both during bulking and cutting. If they are not desirable, are there any other alternatives, such as pasta noodles? Thanks guys!

Why should you slowly increase calories when transitioning from cut to bulk?

I'm starting a bulk after a long cut and plan on eating a surplus of 300-500 calories. I was reading through older posts and saw a lot of comments saying that you should slowly increase cals by 200 every week. I was thinking I could just eat around maintenance for a couple weeks and then...

I was wondering if anyone has advice on nutrition mindset, or I'd like to hear what/how you guys think or go about it. To clarify, what I struggle with is... When I'm feeling good, I workout, sometimes twice a day, eat healthy, meal prep, eat in a caloric deficit. But when I'm not feeling good,...

Calories during a deload

When bulking, should calories be reduced to maintenance during a deload? My reasoning being that there is less stimulus and also less calorie burn so any weight gained during a deload week is more likely to be fat rather than muscle?

I'll keep this short: I've been working out for over 2 years with virtually non existent results because I made up my own routines and didn't track calories or macros. Has anyone made strength gains in late intermediate without excessively overeating?

Should I bulk or continue cutting?

I have pics on body space and just wanted some advice. I’ve been pretty consistent with my nutrition the last 10 weeks sticking with a deficit. My long term goals are aesthetics and basically looking “beach lean.” Hate that term but hopefully you get my point Edit: I’m currently 5’9 176-178lbs

Salt

I don't use salt very much. But when I do, it's salt from a trace mineral block that I place out for deer to lick. I knock off chunks of the salt and save it before putting it out for the deer to lick. I don't take any salt from the block once deer have licked it. Let's hear your salty stories.

IIFYM and Performance - why do some rich foods seem to help and others don't?

Bad idea to eats oats 3x every day for bulking?

At the moment I’m ~145lb at 5’7 or 5’8, I eat 3 meals everyday (breakfast, lunch, dinner), which by itself adds up to 2800-3000 calories and I don’t think I’m burning anything beyond 100-150 calories daily unless it’s a cardio day where I’d burn ~200 calories. But, I’m wondering if it’d be...

When bulking do you need to be at a constant surplus or just a daily surplus?

When eating at a caloric surplus for bulking are you supposed to constantly be at a surplus through out the day, as in every time I eat or snack I should be putting myself ahead of the calories I've burned so far? Or are you just meant to be at a surplus by the day's end?
