Dextrose in the morning ?

So the first thing that i put in my mouth in the morning is half dose whey and 30 grams of dextrose , 30 minutes after that i have breakfast , is that good or shall i leave the dextrose only post workout ? :)

Question is beer like carbs? I drank 4 pints so is that +800 Calories?

I drank 4 pints today and as I've been cutting, I looked up how much that is in Calories, it's about 800. That's quite a bit, and could obliterate some of my deficit for the day - so does it really all get used up by the body and turned to fat, the way Carbs would? Or is there some saving grace...

What spices or seasonings do you recommend without particular nutritional value?

Stuff like steamed broccoli or frozen vegetables, chicken/fish is rather bland. Can you recommend seasonings that make these tasty, without a lot of sodium or other nutritional value? (Not many/any calories). What is a generic go-to?
