Is protein essential in the morning?

Hi I’m cutting and I normally eat a bowl of oats and tuna in the morning but I wanted swap the tuna for a extra chicken breast in the evening and just have the bowl of oats for brekfast. I work out normally straight after brekfast. How important is protein in the morning and is it necessary?
