Post Travel diet

Howdy, I just started a new travel job with Amazon and I basically have to eat out 3 times a day, Monday through Friday, with a max of $75 a day. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve gained 4 pounds of water weight/fat (not 100% sure). In order to not blow up like a ballon, what are some restaurants/...

Not eating enough.

The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit right? I spoke to a personal trainer (who may I add studied to be a personal trainer at college) why my weight had stalled as I wasn’t actually sure. I thought I was eating in a deficit when I clearly wasn’t ( I am now and the scale is...

Liquid whey, toss or keep?

Google says it's 27 cal per 100ml, 5g carbs 1g protein 0.5g fat. There's a fair amount of it after I made yogurt at home using milk and yogurt starter. It waters down the yogurt flavor. Would you guys just dump it or is there an at-home way of making this whey protein?

Cut fat or focus on building muscle?

Long story short: I've had stomach surgery a few years ago and weighted 58kg. Fast forward 4 years and I'm back up to 78kg (I'm guessing 15-16% bodyfat - upper 4 abs slightly visible in good lighting, slight love handles). Been off and on in the gym due to some shoulder injuries, which are ok now. ...

Not gaining weight but have been measuring my calories for months with no problems.

Male, 5ft7, 72kg, been training 11 months. Was consistently gaining weight, plateaued, checked my caloric requirements based on doing "intense exercise 3-4 times a week" (I do 3-4 full body workouts a week), upped my calories from 3000 to 3150 for 2 weeks, still didn't gain any weight. How is this...

Hey people! I’m new to the site. Thanks for having me. I’m a veteran of diet and exercise, on and off since I was 22 years old, and I’m now 35, ~180 pounds, 5’10”, probably about 22-25% body fat. I’m also a lax vegetarian—I eat eggs, fish, etc. (no red meat, chicken, etc.) I’ve accomplished some...

...... Farts.

About fifteen years ago I was about 110kg, I decided to get fit and I did over the course of a year or so getting down to 74kg then adding a bit of muscle to get to a pretty healthy 80-85kg area. I peaked for a few years then slowly started to let myself go a bit, and although I haven't been 110kg...

Low dietary fat ok as long as you have high bodyfat?

Wife trying to lose weight so I have her on a 1000 calorie deficit eating only 1300 a day. As a result, I have her taking a 38g protein shake everyday...
