What kind of scale?

My gym has two scales, one digital and one of the slide scales. They generally show 4-5 lb difference. I know it's arbitrary as long as I stay consistent but just curious which one you would trust?

Bulking question

Hi, I'm at around 182 pounds and 6'2". I'm trying to bulk up to at least 190 and gain the most amount of muscle that I can. I am lean but I do have a fair bit of muscle on already from playing football in high school. My workouts are pretty intense as I'm hitting heavy weight at a hypertrophy...

I in the past haven’t had the most sufficient diet, so while my macros feel like I’m eating enough to put on weight for my body, weight etc. the macros I’m hitting fall into a maintenance category. Do I just plunge into eating these macros and hitting every meal and wait for my body to slowly...

Perfect bulking food

Ok so I watched a video on YouTube made by Eric Bugenhagen, it was his recommendations of bulking foods, now I loved the idea of buying a bag of dates and sunflower kernels ETC and just finishing the bag, but then I’ve read that sunflower kernels contain anti nutrients and a high omega 6 content...

Losing weight, strength and muscle mass instead of gaining

So I've been gyming for around 2 months now. I'm 170cm and was 70kg. Everything was going pretty good, I was gaining muscle mass and strength and I could see it. However, in that two months I actually went to 68kg, I thought that it must have just been the lost fat as I saw strength gains. Except...

Unhappy problems with diet for gaining muscle

Hey you guys, to make a long story longer, I’ve been trying to put on muscle for a few months now. I exercise four times a week on arms, shoulders, chest, and legs. I’m also aware that you need a strong diet to be able to put on any muscle, no matter how much work you put in the gym. Currently,...

Interesting study / popular NSAID wrecks T

This was posted in another section I frequent and didn’t generate much discussion. Since many in this section like to read studies this one might be interesting to those who frequently use a popular NSAID for pain/inflammation. I personally do not take them, but I see people at work who eat them...
