Cant seem to gain or lose

I just turned 50. I've worked out for years off and on, and never really have been skinny nor muscular. Never understood it. I've tried tons of cardio and gotten nowhere. I've tried no cardio and didn't get anywhere. With gyms open again, I'm back to trying to get fit. 6'1, Body fat 29%,...

Gym safety during COVID-19

Sciatica- can I ever train legs again?

Been suffering sciatica, agony, it comes and goes... any hip hinge movement or hamstring exercise sets it off though. Done some basic research on what exercises I should avoid - basically any leg exercises and also bent Row. As an ex powerlifter I lived for leg day. So its pretty depressing...

Dad Seeks Advice From Other Dads

My oldest son is about to turn 14 years old. I started lifting at a gym when I was 14 years old. I was planning to get my son started with a gym membership for his 14th birthday, but my wife says he's too young. Also, he is a competitive swimmer, and his coaches are telling him to hold off until...

What do you do; Motivation?

What are some of the things you do, or suggest to do when you are tired, and have no motivation or desire to exercise? I find I am struggling with that a lot, and I am sad to say, I give in to it way to much. :(

spine adjusting and cracking during leg press, is this ok?

I've noticed my spine making cracking and adjusting noises while doing the hack squat and with the leg press. It's not painful, feels soothing like being at the chiropractor. I have minimal soreness at my tailbone, and even less the next day. I used to have very bad pain in my scapula muscle from...

Just a background, I started lifting at 14 years old. I lifted regularly until I was about 30 years old. No stranger to the gym or proper technique, or DOMS. After having kids and career, my gym attendance fell off. Now I've returned to the gym at 43 years old after about 13 years off. I am...

Any speed athletes here? Working on sprints, energy, nutrition.

I might be a bit out of place here as I am not too concerned about "getting my gains" regarding size, no competitions to go to, or any women to impress. But I am getting back to work with primary goals of gaining strength, protection from injury, and seeing how far I am still push my speed. I was...

Trt, clomid, and thinking about anavar..

Hi. I take trt (test cyp) once a week and clomid every other day. It is prescribed by a doctor for low-T. I was thinking about adding anavar. If so, what does should I consider and will the clomid every other day be sufficient enough that I do not need a separate PCT? I am looking to shed some LBs....
