Need Advice

So I don't know which way to go right now.... based on my pics (hopefully they attach properly), should I continue working on adding muscle mass? Or should I cut? Do I have enough to work with to cut and look ok? Also, a BF% estimate would be greatly appreciated. I've also learned lighting...

Any Vegans Out There?

Hi Guys, I hope everyone is doing well. I recently have been diagnosed with hypertension, BPH (enlarged prostate) and high cholesterol (I guess from all the low carb dieting I did in the last 15 years). I am in my mid 50's. I have always weight trained in the last 15 or so years, sometimes...

No date but rumour is gyms in UK reopen July if all is well. The uk's trade association for gyms ukactive has guidance which is fairly vague https://www.ukactive.com/covid-19 but does have specific things such as workout towels banned, 3m squared per person and obvious things about cleaning....

New to lifting

Hey fam. I started lifting a month ago. Starting to see results in my biceps and am able to do 2 pull ups (never happened in my life). Wondering when I can expect to see gains in the chest? When I flex, I can feel movement that I never felt before. I've been doing flat bench, incline bench...

Advice on what to do to get shredded

I am 40 and have been alternating between push ups and pull ups for about 6 months. Should I continue to try to gain mass or should I lose weight at this point?

So I am facing problems that I never use to have. I am really struggling to keep my motivation through a work out. I go in in gung ho but about 30 mins in I just kinda lose my desire to be in the gym. I currently work out alone in my garage. What are you all doing to keep motivated or keep...

Fat to muscle...?

I'm fairly new to paying attention to what I am trying to do as far as working out and exercise ise. I used to just go do it, with out a real goal. My question is, if I want to turn fat into muscle, is that considered maintaining my weight while I just lift with little cardio?

Well here we go again! .... sigh damn it

12 years ago I was BMI 30, out of shape with no muscle, the typical unattractive and unfit dad bod guy, if not slightly worse. Then I lost the weight, got in shape (I joined here right when I started really lifting) and I got good enough that people would ask me my routine. Nothing really "body...

Pain in quads from squatting

Sometimes when I squat, I have to stop because I get a pulled/strained feeling in one of my quads. It's usually my right quad, on either the inside or outside of it. (But has happened to my left quad too). I even started warming up before hand. I went on a 5 minute light jog to warm up today but...

How much cardio is too much?

Hi! I am 53. My entire life I've been the square, strong shape rather than the slim, endurance type. Cardio has been something I've suffered through. At last I've found a workaround, that means I enjoy cardio. I look forwards to cardio in the gym and incorporate it more. But... so far in my...
