55 year old female wanting to compete in NPC Figure for first time

I’ve been attempting to use the npnewsonline schedule page for Masters competition that would be good for first time female competitor in the Figure class but searching that schedule is incredibly inefficient and tedious. Along them didn’t yield any better results. I found the below ones that...

6 months 40 yr old needs motivation

Hello all, I’m about 183 cm tall and 86 kg. I would consider myself skinny fat. I’ve been skinny all my childhood and teen years. Narrow shoulders and chicken legs. In my 20s and 30s started gain weight and no muscles. Due to poor diet eating out and drinking beer. Now I turned 40 and last...

Body Aches Advice!

Let me get to the point! I hurt, all over, all the time... well I think there might be one toe that does not hurt. I get up in the morn and can hardly move (this is without working out) and it does not go away. I heard someone once say it feels like the beginning stages of rigamortis. And it lasts...

Changing it up.

I have been doing a program designed by Stark for about a year now and the old body is starting to send some signals. The program was designed around heavy compounds and progression. I loved it, my strength and size increased, but I am starting to get some nagging in my shoulder and back. I am...

Chest Issues - 40 Years Old

Hi - I've been working out for about 10 years now. I spent my 20's getting fat and playing video games, and my 30's getting fit. I quickly lost about 60lbs when I turned 30, then proceeded to strength train for until now. Not that it's huge numbers, but I got to the point that I could deadlift...

Do mike mentzer`s heavy-duty hit program only work if you`re very fit?

I mean, he advocated later in his life to do a single workout to failure every like 5-10 days, but I tried it a little myself some years and I never grew anything, almost nothing in strength ether, but now later I feel I could probably do a single workout and then rest some days before doing the...

Do you also workout the same muscles everyday?

I started working out a little when around 15 years old, but then I listened to everyone else and had rest-days sort of, the difference now is that I do the same muscles everyday and of course, I try to eat enough, what do you think so far of my progress, I`ve uploaded a picture?

Fatigued snowboarding

Male 51 years old. 6’ 200 lbs. So I go snowboarding and I get fatigued in no time. Most of the time it’s not the actual snowboarding that tires me but for example, on a snowboard if you don’t have enough speed and you go into a flat area you end up having to take your foot out of one binding and...

Finally gaining

Ate at 3500 cals for well over a month to gauge maintenance. I wasn’t gaining nor was I losing. So I bumped up to 4000 a little over a month ago and have put on 5 pounds. Started at 183ish now sitting at 188-189. Lost some definition but there has to be some muscle gain involved. Current pics...

How would you lift with only 30 minutes a day?

I've been lifting for about 25 years now. I did a couple of natural bodybuilding competitions several years ago and got my pro card. My wife and I decided to start a family at the ripe old age of 40 :) I'm now a stay-at-home dad, which is a tremendous blessing and challenge. My wife and I each...

I think I’m old

I am 47, used to be young dumb and full of cum. Now I’m beat up and fat. I think I am at a point where I can go one of two ways. I used to be able to grab myself by the bootstraps but I have very slowly faded away. I need a belief and a vision. I used to love to lift, not so much cardio...
