Deadlifts after back workout.

After a year of doing PPL. I’m 6 weeks into a new split and like it. It’s a 4 day split. It’s nice just to focus on Chest and Tri’s without putting shoulders in there now. Day 1 chest/triceps Day 2 legs Day 3 shoulders/traps/neck/forearms Day 4 back/biceps. I’ve been doing deadlifts after...

Chest Muscle Void

Hey all! When I flex my chest I have a small area in the middle of both pecs on the outer edge that's not filled in if that makes sense. How can I try to fill this in? Or is it just normal. Try flexing and see if you guys have the same thing. You can kind of see it on my progress photos.

35, new to lifting and supplements

Hey guys, I'm new to lifting (I haven't lifted more that a year straight) and had a few questions. I'm 35 230lbs 6ft 38" waist (wide hips). First what supplements should I be taking for the best and fastest results? Second I have a little fat in my belly, love handles and thighs. I know I don't eat...

Hi Guys, I hope everyone is doing well. I recently have been diagnosed with hypertension, BPH (enlarged prostate) and high cholesterol (I guess from all the low carb dieting I did in the last 15 years). I am in my mid 50's. I have always weight trained in the last 15 or so years, sometimes...

Hi all, Need some advice please as I am really struggling to understand what I should be doing: So, I am 43 (nearly 44). I have not been down the gym in nearly a year - various reasons (new job, covid etc). My diet has gone to the dogs, eating crap, drinking a fair amount. Not good, I now...

Need some advice

I have been back at the gym 4-5 days a week for the last seven weeks. I haven't been doing anything mind blowing just getting my body used to lifting. I'm looking the the programs and most seem to have exercises I can't do. Squats, deadlifts and any kind of row where I'm bent over are almost...

Urge to stand and inability to sit down is due to...?

In my younger years. I would have moments where I would experience a strong urge to stand and an inability to sit. What would cause this? Growth hormone? I've also experienced moments where my spine would feel like a steel rod. Any ideas?

Gaining Flexibility...?

Flexibility was never my strongest point; even when I was an athlete. I was a sprinter in High School, and very fast, I had some flexibility, but not a lot. I studied the Martial Arts, I could snap kick someone in the head, but I could never hold my leg up that high. To make a long story short, in...

What do you do; Motivation?

What are some of the things you do, or suggest to do when you are tired, and have no motivation or desire to exercise? I find I am struggling with that a lot, and I am sad to say, I give in to it way to much. :(

Any speed athletes here? Working on sprints, energy, nutrition.

I might be a bit out of place here as I am not too concerned about "getting my gains" regarding size, no competitions to go to, or any women to impress. But I am getting back to work with primary goals of gaining strength, protection from injury, and seeing how far I am still push my speed. I was...

Sudden Strength Loss - Bench & Military Press

Anyone experience anything like this or offer any insight/ideas? Thanks a ton! Three weeks ago had an amazing chest/back workout, everything felt great. I normally do 225 x 12, 250 x 10, 275 x 8 and 315 for max reps - usually 4-6. Then two weeks ago, for some reason I decided to narrow my...

Need diet advice

Getting ready to turn 45 in a couple of weeks and I have not been to the gym in 2 years. I started an office job 2 years ago and it has been a lifestyle change for sure. Bicep question

Why do my biceps only ever get sore where the muscle attaches in the front of my arm where my elbow bends? Other muscle groups get sore in the entire muscle, but I’ve never had the peak of my bicep sore or the upper bicep sore. Any thoughts?
