Post Shoulder Pain Management: Grip Width and...

I have been lifting for 35 years and have had shoulder problems. To manage shoulder pain I have done a few things that have worked for me. Just wondering if anyone else has tried these solutions, can tell me why they seem to work, or can give me other ways to try. I read everything on exercises,...

Thoughts on bodyfat levels.....and changing perspectives

I have been back at training steadily now almost 7 years. With a total accumulation over the years going on 15 years or training. I am amazed at how much one's perceptions can change. When I first returned to the gym was when I realized just how WRONG my ideas of nutrition, weight gain and...

Benefits of drop sets

I did drop sets this friday, and I have such a soreness it is crazy. I did it to do something different, but what is the purpose ? Is it more for cutting ? Or bulking ? Since I do both, lift heavy and high reps.

Wife has expressed an interest in starting weight training, advice?

It has taken almost three years for my wife to partake in what I do, but I am still surprised she has expressed an interest. She joined a gym a month ago, and has been going to a few classes (Legs. Bums and Tums type of thing). She (and her friend who she goes with) have asked me to show...

Stronglifts 5x5 and time limitations

Hi guys, I'm 40 (almost 41), and I've been following Stronglifts 5x5 (as closely as I can) for about 7 months now and although the first 6 weeks or so I did show a good linear progression on everything, since then I just seem to have stalled on everything multiple times. I've reached my body...
