Wrinkle remedies

I am going to do my first BB show in over 30 years in a few months, and being an old guy, I have some wrinkles on my belly. Anybody found anything topical that helps with that?

Total Weight or Lean Body Mass when calculating protein needs?

What do you guys use? Total weight or LBM? I'm about 17% BF right now at 168 pounds, if I was looking to consume 1 gram per pound it's a difference of 168 grams verses 139 grams... pretty significant. What do you guys go with? Thanks!

Angry Age 33. Status: Tour Over for strength gains & muscle gains.

I feel like it's over to be honest. I go to failure, I work out 3 times a week, I am hepped up on pre workout And I still can't even push one rep more than last week or the week before and hell all it takes is one missed meal and a bad sleep and I can be down 10-15% on my lifts. Age 33,...

Ten Weeks Post Hernia Op

On August 15th I went in to have my 20-year-old hernia repaired. I had been putting it off for so long thinking it wasn't that big a deal. I had even consulted with a surgeon about 10 years ago who told me that as long as it's not bothering me physically or emotionally, I didn't really need to get...

Frustration

I am going to rant a minute here. I really suck at sustained weight loss. I understand the concepts, macros, weighing food, tracking calories, deficit targets- and I can put them in place, but I constantly sabotage myself. Its driving me nuts. I am stronger than I have ever been (at least on...

Unhappy Injury help?

3years ago I was doing weighted dips when i got a painful pop in my Sc Joint, became really clicky but nothing major but over time it's become quite Unstable but doesn't dislocate. Shoulder presses and most back workouts make it pop/move in and out alot which is irritating, anyone with anything...

Weight lifting after hernia surgery

Well does this ever disappoint. I was on a job and was lifting a concrete base for an underground communications vault , when later on things didn’t feel right . It was month ago and I thought it would heal . Did light squats yesterday and made it far worse . I can feel a lump in the left of my...

Cannot increase my 1RM on 5/3/1 before I need to cut again.

Sorry for the long post. I’m struggling here with how I should proceed. I am 40 years old & just under 5’8” tall. I have an extremely small frame with wrists measuring just 6” circumference. I currently weigh in at just under 130lb which does sound really light but if you look at my avi I don’t...

When can I realistically expect visible results?

Hi everyone! I’m 41 and the reason I ask this question is that whilst I trained a lot in my 20’s (was super fit my entire 20’s), a little in my early 30’s, but absolutely no weight training since my second child was born 8 years ago (trained until I was 8 weeks pregnant with her then stopped when I...

Bulking & Cutting in your 50's: Perspectives Wanted

Hello all - I am believer in bulking and cutting, but wondering about it's value for the advanced over 50 natural lifter. I believe a calorie surplus is OPTIMAL for muscle growth, and then a cut following a bulk is usually necessary to get rid of the fat that accompanies the muscle gain. That said,...

47 years old and want to start Fierce 5 but have concerns

I've been wanting to change my workout routine and the Fierce 5 looks good. However, at 47, I have some injuries that never healed well which leaves me feeling very uncomfortable with some exercises. In particular are barbell/dumb bell bench press and and dips. I do just fine on Nautulis bench or...

As per the title, 6 months ago I injured my shoulder doing weighted dips, it's never been right since but I can work around it. 5 weeks ago I got tendinitis in my knee, and even after resting it for weeks it feels the same. Then on Tuesday this week I've strained a muscle around or inbetween...
