800 mg caffeine has no effect

I just took 2 scoops of pre workout, which is 800mg caffeine total, and I didnt feel anything at all. I took it on almost empty stomach. Why dont I feel anything when I take pre workouts? should i take 3 scoops so it will be 1200 mg?
