1000 Calorie Surplus?

I need about 2000 calories to maintain my weight. If I eat an extra 1000 calories consisting of mainly protein and carbs, will it gain me muscle? I'm panning on working out at least 1-1.5hours per day. I'm trying not to gain much fat so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
