Curls makes my forearms feel like theyre about to explode

So Im really new with going to the gym, and whenever I do any sort of curls it feels like my forearms are about to explode, they get such a insane pump, after like 3-4 sets. Vastus Medialis (teardrop muscle) imbalance. help!

on my left leg my teardrop muscle is nearly twice the size as the one on my right leg. I cannot figure out how to make it grow with out making my other leg grow even bigger and never solving the problem. its almost like I need to resort to a spot injection of steroid for it to catch up.
