help. muscle soreness problems

is it bad that no matter what training style i use, even including extra positive reps past failure, i never experience any muscle soreness for any groups of muscle. I still see strength improvements on everything i the lack of muscle soreness a sign im not training right?

Is german volume training (10*10) a good intermediate program?

So I have switched from a 5×5 to a 10*10 or german volume training. My Trainer says that I need to focus on more volume and put my focus on hypertrophy more then just strength. I just don't want to waste any time. Is it worth running this program for a while?

Eating mcdonalds before or after working out

Hey I like to eat a quarterpounder sometimes before but usually after working out.. my dad used to eat a few bigmacs before going to the gym to workout and he had 19 inch arms(of muscle) back in his 20's. so i was wondering does anyone else eat mcdonalds like that?
