Okay, ONE of you guys

Marty (Gator)

could have told me that a cutting diet & Jimmy Buffet DO NOT GO TOGETHER.

I'm going to bed now. . .

I can't even listen to Cheeseburger in Paradise if I am trying to lose fat.Gotta have one :D

I wish I had eaten a little more at that concert. I had 2 grilled chicken strips on skewers & 3 slices of raw zuchinni & a few raw cauliflower with no dressing. I chased that with 3 glasses of wine and one margarita. :( LOL I did dance a lot though -- maybe that burned some of it off!

I wish I had been in Key West! That was the only bummer -- it was cold outside -- he just makes you want to be on the beach! :)

He came out in a red Piggly Wiggly t-shirt & royal blue shorts -- no shoes. LOL

Not developed yet. Probably too scary to post. :)

It looks like you ate sorta clean....and all the alcohol may have burned off some of the calories too. :)
I'm glad you had fun!

Here he is, along with my pass to go inside the Frank McGuire (former USC basketball coach) Club & get very tipsy. I need a piggly wiggly tshirt -- :). The picture won't shrink.

Every once in a while you have to say "what the ****" You only live once.

Sounds like fun.

I too would have opted for the margaritas instead of the greasy cheeseburgers, and worried about potentially damaging dance photos!

My wife and are avid Buffet fans. Some of our friends just don't get it.One of my favorite songs is a pirate looks at 40.We went to a concert in Pittsburgh this year and the weather was beautiful. We were video taping in the parking lot the various parrot heads and all their props i.e. palm trees, cabana bars, pirate flags etc. Some of the people thought we were Jimmy doing the video they show during the concert.Needless to say we got some interesting shots.

Uh, I meant to say some people thought we were with Buffet.

Paranoid: The belief that behind every thing we consume is the dreaded weight gain:D

If anything, you did not consume enough calories or fat% ... a good thing and you had fun ... way to go My Lady. :):)

hey, jimmy is on the radio now. wheres my tekillya!!

02-06-2003, 03:08 PM
I got a little more nauseated just reading that!

02-07-2003, 09:40 PM
Being a lifelong Parrothead... I don't understand.
Listening to Jimmy always lifts my spirits, and makes me feel that the world is full of "small stuff"... the only thing that matters is LIFE!!!
Besides... a diet of tropical stuff can't be all bad for ya... unless it comes with a paper umbrella... or am I not understanding some part of this. Probabily so.

ArkAngel -- the nausea was due to my recent drinking experience not Jimmy Buffet's music -- there was just an association thing going on between the two things at the time. LOL

He did put on a great concert -- that was a lot of fun!

Glad you managed to "crawl out and greet the day", as JImmy said, somewhere between A1A and other locations he's been to.
You know, it's strange how many times either Buffett or Warren Zevon come to mind when life deals you an uncomfortable experience... check out a Zevon song called "Bad Karma" sometime... it sums up reality pretty well.
Check you out later...

Ewww, ArkAngel. I looked up the words to that -- not very happy. My reality sure isn't summed up by that song! :)
