View Full Version : To blend or not to blend?

I'm currently having a shake for my last meal of the day mainly consisting of
Cottage Cheese, Cassein Powder, Avocado...and I was wondering
if blending and drinking them as shake may accelerate the digestion [which isn't what I want at night] compared to having them naturaly.

So, which is better to use a spoon or a shaker?

well think about it.. If you blend it, technically purifying it, it'll be easier on the stomach to quickly break down. Unlike if you take it with a spoon and stir and leave it in chunks the somtach will have to work a tad hard to fully break down and digest those chunks of avo and cheese.

I would say blend, either way it'll digest slowly because of the caesin protein. I don't think it'll really make a difference in the way your stomach will digest it. Just depends how your stomach will react to either chunks or purified.

I would enjoy chunks though, i like avo in chunks. Including for guacamole too, i don't like it fully purified.
