View Full Version : Breakfast Shake?

Hey guys,

I have trouble eating a breakfast in the morning. I don't wake up very hungry at all or in the mood to freakin cook.

Is it a good idea to just make a shake instead. one that contains- milk, protein, peanut butter/eggs, oats?

Or is it better to wake up to solid foods?

I honestly just can't eat when i wake up.

Well it you can't stomach solids, then just have the shake. Rather have something than nothing at all :D

I only do a shake myself. Mine only contains protien and banannas, so you're probably doing better than me in the breakfast dept. I know it's no excuse, but I really don't have enough time in the morning, freaking snooze button kills half my morning. lol

I'm the same way. A shake and banana is about all I can take right after I wake up for the first hour or so...

i hate eating in the morning also. heres what i do. wake up and do cardio then make a shake

2 scoops mass meal
1 cup oats
hand full of fruit (strawberrys, rasberry, whatever i have)
2 scoops of flax seed meal
banana
creatine
water (or milk)
ice
blend, yum

sometimes i throw in some natural PB or yogurt

I would make one containing whole milk, protein powder of some sort, and a little bit of crushed up oats...not enough to make it super thick.
