I was looking for a list of items that have a good amount of protein in there and are fairly quick to make & eat. I think we should compile a list of these items for all the people on the go, like myself, so we can keep a good diet and still get good amount of protien. I am trying to get about 200-250 grams a day with out have to use to many protien shakes.

Some Items I can think of off the top of my head..

1. Tuna - 13-15 grams/per can
2. Protein Bar - 15-40grams
3. Cottage Cheses - ?grams
4. Hard-Boiled Eggs - 2-3grams ?
5. Chicken Breast - ??grams 6oz ??
6. Oatmeal - ?? grams
7. ??

If everyone could please add some items to this list we could help everyone out, including me. If you could add the amount of protien also that would be great. Maybe we can get a good list going and have it posted on the web site. Thanks for sharing you knowledge guys, I am still learning all I can about nutrition.

1. actually, a can of tuna in water has about 37g of protein... about 15g/serving.. each can is 2.5 servings... something like that
3. 13g/serving... 1 serving=1/2 cup
4. about 6g/protein for the whole egg

Actually, a 6 oz can of tuna typically has a lot more protein than that - about 32 grams or so.

A 1/2 cup of cottage cheese has about 14g protein.

Eggs have about 6g each.
