They are asking you to call them at 800-548-3708 with

the lot number on the box so they can send you postage for you

to send it back to them, and they will also issue you a refund.

If you know of anyone else with small children, PLEASE PASS THIS ON.

THIS IS SERIOUS STUFF!

DO PASS ALONG TO ALL ON YOUR MAILING LIST so people are informed.

They can then pass it along to their families.

To confirm these findings please take time to check the following:

I got this from the first site.

FDA is aware of emails circulating widely that list many products allegedly containing PPA. Those emails are no longer valid and should be ignored. Please read the labels of OTC products to determine if they contain PPA. (Paragraph added 2/20/2002)

Isn't this the recall that went into effect 2 years ago??

Most companies have already changed there brands to not include this ingredient.

I work in retail and remember pulling products form the shelf 2 years ago.

But it doesn't hurt to be well informed.

Viola, you are right that this is the same ingredient that was voluntarily recalled about 2 years ago.
But as far as I know, the FDA did not ban the drug, so it can still be found in some medicines. But most have stopped using it in OTC drugs.

Charger is right...check the labels to make sure it is not present. Many people have cold medicines in their home that can be a few years old so those may very well contain it.
