View Full Version : Does caloric amount pertain to the amount of time

I was wondering, if i would normally wake up at say 8 and eat 2500 calories a day, should i still eat 2500 calories if i wake up later in the day

i just want to know if i need to get in all the calories even if i have been sleeping a larger portion of the day, because sleeping makes me feel less active so i figure i would be burning less

you should probably adjust accordingly- Since your metabolic rate slows down while you are asleep your body does not burn as many calories in a day where you are awake for 10 hours as it does on a day when you are awake for 16.
