My mother wants to start weight training(not for size). What would be a good routine for her(including abs)? She is in fairly good shape already and is naturally pretty strong.

Is this a good routine what should be cut/added? What would be a good rep range?

Full-body:
Bench Press
Curls
Tricep Extensions
Squats
Lunges
Deadlift
Abs?

pretty much yes, yes and yes...

A good routine changes every 6 weeks or so depending on exactly what your goals are.

But for beginners, she just needs to first find some exercises she is comfortable with, learn proper form and concentrate on trying to feel whatever muscle the exercise is designed to hit.

Check out the library, run a seach on this forum or google to find specific exercises that hit each muscle group.
