i always get hungry DURING SLEEP so im just wondering wot i can eat to keep or make my stomach feel full till morning, i usually have to wake up to drink a glass of milk

btw does anyone know y u get hungry?

Rather than milk, try eating one tablespoon full of cottage cheese (if you like it) better source of protien and it should get you through the rest of the night. A lot of people with a high metabolism wake up in the night and are hungry...make sensible choices in what you eat/drink in the night - even a tbsp of peanut butter might do the trick. I have heard of people also eating a low-fat yogurt before bed. Maybe others will respond with their ideas.

1 tablespoon seems small, that like the size of 2-3 biscuits, i try some tonite

I know it seams small, I guess it also depends on your goals entirely, because I am cutting right now that is all I do, but if you are not cutting, maybe go for 1/2 cup or something of cottage cheese, or put some peanut butter on some crackers etc....

i ate a handful of nuts otherday, seems to work also

Yes, nuts work great, however once I start with those or Peanut butter, I have a hard time stopping...same with wheat thins...I love them. Keep up the great work, you will do ok.

Hey...I am new to this site, but not new to the bodybuilding/weight training world. I used to be a long distance runner, who has recently changed paths, due to knee problems. I have decided to build muscle mass. I am able to pack on the mass fairly quickly. I am, however, trying to cut.

We are about the same in stats, I'm 5'7 about 137 and bodyfat was 17.5 back in December. I do believe it's lower now. Could you give me an idea on what your diet looks like? Do you work out in the am or pm? I'm sure you break up your cardio and weights on either different days or going 2x's per day.

I workout currently as follows:

1 hour of cardio in the a.m.
weights (1 bodypart 6 days a week) - P.m.
1.5 hours of cardio in the p.m. after weights

Currently my diet is crazy because my body is holding on to everything in regards to carbs...just my body type. So, my foods are lower than what might normally be required. I am not a nutritionist, but my trainer is, and so I follow her advice very closely. Most of my meals consist of the the following types of foods:

Turkey, chicken, buffalo, tuna, spinach, tomatoes, zucchini, flax seed oil, apples (on occasion), yams, protien drinks with flax seed oil, and post workout drinks without flax seed oil, occasional peanut butter or peanuts, cottage cheese - occassionally, brocoli, green beans, salsa, seasonings. My grams are as follows currently - <100 protien, <30 carbs, <20 fats per day. I know, seems drastic, but it is what I am having to do...y body is weird...once it gets past my stail mate point, I should be able to increase foods a bit. I really recommend seeking out a nutritionist. Terracotta has a great site - look to her journal in the journaling section, I know she has a great site, and she can recommend some nutritionist as well.
