howdi....how much exactly is 1 scoop as it says on the container.....i assume this is 1 table spoon?

no, not a tablespoon. wash your hands or use some tongs and dig in, it should include a plastic scoop

Ah ok. Will do that when i get home! out of interest...is the scoop quite a bit bigger than a heaped table spoon?

Yes. I know that the scoop which comes with my whey is about 1/3 cup. That's 5.3 Tablespoons.

On the nutrition label it will give the weight in grams for the scoop/serving size! Use that and weigh your powder. Otherwise, some people may "pack" the scoop, some may lightly put their powder in and you end up with different serving sizes. My "Scoop" serving is 32 grams in weight. I keep a small glass dish next to my food scale, zero it out, and scoop into that. Same goes for some supplements. My BCAA powder says a "rounded" teaspoon is 5 grams. I took a rounded teaspoon and weighed it, it was only 3 grams.
