My little sister is 15 years old and is undergoing a foot surgery on one of her feet that will ultimately leave her off her feet for a few weeks, and in-and-out of various cast for the remainder of the summer.

She approached me about creating a routine for her, aimed at upper body strength... and for the time being incorporating legs. I was thinking something along the lines of a M-W-F 3 day split working arms monday, chest/back/shoulders wed and legs on friday.. 3x10 for the first 4 weeks or so to build a base and then de-ramp 12,8,6 or something to that extent -- with 3 exercizes per muscle at 2-3 sets.

Please let me know if there's anything I should take into consideration (limitations? swapping excersizes, avoiding some exercizes altogether etc) Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

As long as you know what you are doing and don't consider a workout shrugs and bench press - then she can train with the same rep scheme and exercises as you do.
