Well I went to my neighborhood H-E-B and I was lookin in the oats section and all they had was quaker quick oats and the generic brand, what's the difference between regular oats and steel cut oats, what's so great about steel cut? Do they make a big difference? Do I need go to GNC to buy them or something lol?

The only difference between steel cut and regular oats is taste and texture.......thats it. Some may argue that steel cut oats have a lower GI but its not a big deal. There is nothing different nutrition wise between steel cut and regular oats.
