i was just wondering if anyone knew how much sodium (roughly) is in a boneless/skinless chicken breast, or in a fresh salmon fillet (not frozen)??
any rough idea would be good...i am trying to count my daily sodium intake, to see if i need to reduce it or not...i am around 1950 mg a day before i take 1.5 chicken breasts and a salmon fillet.
any rough idea would be helpful.

A 6 oz chicken breast has 111 mg

A 5.6 oz salmon fillet has 107 mg

If you buy freezer bags of chicken the sodium content is like tripled.

If you buy freezer bags of chicken the sodium content is like tripled.Good catch, I totally forgot about that. I just looked on my bag and sure enough, 600 mg for 196g breast.
