A CLOSER LOOK AT New SCORCH™ Remix V3:

RASPBERRY KETONES

Raspberry Ketones (RK) are the compounds in raspberries that impart the characteristic fruity odor. New research shows that RK poses’ potent fat-loss properties and represent a new tool in fighting obesity and aiding fat loss.
The chemical structure of RK resembles that of capsaicin (of red peppers) and synephrine, found in Citrus Aurantium. Both synephrine and capsaicin are well documented for their ability to produce thermogenesis through the release of norepinephrine (NE). NE increases lipolysis (breakdown of “white” fat cells), reduces appetite, increases attention/focus (along with dopamine), and reduces depression symptoms.

In other words, RK works synergistically with SCORCH’s other scientifically based components to maximize fat-loss.

While pepper extracts can cause gastrointestinal distress, RK has no documented side effects related to consumption and may even be more thermogenic than capsaicin. Due to the similarity in structure of RK to capsaicin and synephrine, scientific research to test the fat-loss effects of RK was done. Research clearly showed that RK prevented the onset of obesity in mice even when the animals were on a high-fat diet. RK also prevented an increase in blood triglyceride following a high-fat meal. That means that RK not only prevented the onset of obesity, but it also prevented the storage of fat. When rats were overfed fructose, a simple sugar linked to the current obesity epidemic, RK prevented fat synthesis. RK’s fat loss effects come from their ability to enhance norepineprine-induced fat loss by promoting the relocation of HSL from the cytosol of cells directly to fat deposits!

The take home message on RK is that they prevent and improve conditions of obesity with its main mechanism of action being its effects in altering the lipid metabolism through increasing norepinephrine-induced lipolysis.

XANTHINOL NICOTINATE

Xanthinol Nicotinate (XN) is a form of niacin that passes through the cell membranes. It is the most effective form of niacin available.

XN stimulates memory and concentration by improving the brain’s blood flow and has been shown to increase brain glucose metabolism, improve brain ATP levels and act as a vasodilator. This explains its ability to improve brain blood flow. Conditions of insufficient blood flow to the arteries and the extremities, short-term memory disorders and lack of brain energy that compromises alertness, concentration and focus have been successfully treated with the use of XN. What's more, XN has been clinically shown to improve the reaction speed of the elderly.

XN (like Niacin) can cause a flushing of the skin and a sense of warmth. It has consequently been suggested that XN can aid weight control through water loss.

SYNEPRHINE

Synephrine is an adrenergic amine, with mild stimulating properties, that enhances the metabolic rate, increases fat burning, suppresses appetite and spares muscle protein. Found naturally occurring in the fruit Citrus Aurantium, Synephrine represents a natural alternative to its chemical cousin ephedrine for providing weight-loss results without the side effects of ephedrine.

Synephrine appears to offer all of the advantages of a stimulant, without their short comings since it considered a semi-selective sympathomimetic - it targets some tissues such as fat, more than it targets others such as the heart – compared to a non-selective sympathomimetic like ephedrine which targets many tissues equally and thus often causes side effects such as jitteriness, heart palpitations and son on.

The mechanism of action of Synephrine is unique amongst weight loss supplements in that Synephrine is an agonist of the alpha-1 adrenoreceptor. The alpha-1 adrenoreceptor is involved in many physiological processes, playing a variety of roles in adipose tissue, such as modulating intracellular Ca2+ and protein kinase C levels and glycogenolysis and lactate production. Alpha-1 agonists have been shown to increase lipolysis in a variety of studies. This effect is potentiated by beta receptor stimulation, adenosine antagonism, and elevated cAMP levels, so ephedrine, caffeine, forskolin, raspberry ketones and possibly compounds such as evodiamine, and capsaicin may all be synergistic with Synephrine in regards to weight loss. The appetite suppression caused by Synephrine is also known to be attributed to alpha-1 agonism, so Synephrine can also be expected to aid in a fat loss plan by reducing the amount of calories consumed on a daily basis.

FORSKOLIN

Forskolin is a diterpene from the roots of the Indian plant Coleus Forskohlii. Research has revealed the comprehensive effects of Forskolin. The majority of these effects have been associated to the role of Forskolin as a potentiator of adenylate cyclase, leading to a rise in cAMP levels.

So what does this mean and why is it in SCORCH? Increasing cAMP levels leads to the production of another enzyme, hormone sensitive lipase and that which burns fat! In addition, by a related mechanism using cAMP, Forskolin also increases thyroid hormone production and release, leading to a higher metabolism and further fat burning effects.
Forskolin may also be involved in regulating insulin secretion and the promotion of lean body mass by shifting the proportion of lean body mass and fat tissue in favor of lean body mass.

EVODIAMINE

Evodiamine is a bioactive alkaloid found in the fruit Evodiae Fructus (also known as Wu-Chu-Yu). It has been used for centuries by Chinese Medicinally as a tool to promote weight loss. Its main mechanisms of action is believed to be through stimulation of the vanilloids receptors, which gives Evodiamine the distinctive potential to increase heat production and heat loss simultaneously, ultimately leading to the use of fat for fuel. Recent studies on mammals confirm that Evodiamine does indeed promote weight loss.
Additionally Evodiamine increases catecholamine secretion from the adrenal glands leading to stimulatory properties and cAMP activation. cAMP causes the activation of about 300 different enzyme reactions in the body. Essentially this puts ATP production, synthesis of protein and the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates into overdrive, and that can help you get lean and hard.

Evodiamine represents an effective thermogenic agent that supports energy, has diuretic properties, and vasodilating properties.

P2™ OOLONG TEA SE

Oolong Tea has been studied extensively for its antioxidant properties and it is believed to aid in decreasing bodyfat.
A recent study on Oolong Tea showed it to increase metabolism even more so than the popular Green Tea. Oolong Tea increased resting energy needs by 10 percent compared to 4 percent for Green Tea. Don’t go throwing away your Green Tea just yet. Researchers found that the teas work for different reasons. Green Tea is high in catechins and caffeine, while Oolong Tea is high in P2™ Polymerized Polyphenols (several Polyphenols linked together). The research suggests that P2™ Polymerized Polyphenols in Oolong Tea are responsible for the increased Energy Expenditure (EE) and that by taking Green Tea in conjunction (high in catechins) may provide an even greater fat-burning effect.

LEAN GREEN™ GREEN TEA SE

An abundance of research has confirmed that Green Tea can cause weight loss through multiple ways. Green Tea has been shown to be an effective appetite suppressant and to increase thermogenesis. Thermogenesis refers to energy used in heat production that is not related to resting metabolism or physical activity. Green Tea effects on body weight and energy expenditure were examined in a study that reported that 24-h energy expenditure (EE) and fat oxidation increased in healthy, young men who consumed a Green Tea Extract containing caffeine and Green Tea Polyphenols(catechins which include EC, EGC, ECG, and EGCG). Of these, EGCG epigallocatechin gallate is the most active. It was concluded that Green Tea Polyphenols, especially EGCG stimulate thermogenesis and fat oxidation. A synergistic effect of EGCG and caffeine may be responsible for enhancing thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

Additionally the catechins, found in Green Tea are known to possess potent antioxidant activity by protecting the body from the damaging effects of oxidative damage from free radicals.

CAFFEINE

A natural Central Nervous System stimulant, caffeine is also extremely well-documented to possess thermogenic and appetite-suppressive qualities. Caffeine is widely used for its ability to provide energy levels and has been shown to increase reaction time and enhance athletic performance.

BIOPERINE®

Bioperine® is a standardized extract from the fruit of Piper nigrum L (black pepper) or Piper longum L (long pepper). It contains 95 percent of piperine. Bioperine® may be co-administered with various nutrients for both human and animal health.

The metabolic process that generates energy at the cellular level in the human body is called thermogenesis. Though thermogenesis has been identified as a key factor in maintaining weight loss, it has also been identified as playing an integral role in utilizing the daily food and nutrients that the human body consumes. It sets in motion the mechanisms that lead to digestion and subsequent gastrointestinal absorption. Piperine, in the patented form of Bioperine® enhances the body's natural thermogenic activity - hence the term Thermonutrient®.

This enhancement may be explained as a means of increasing the thermal energy sufficient to "power up" the mechanism related to thermogenesis. This in turn results in increased metabolic processes that creates a "demand" for "supply" of a broad range of nutrients that contribute to metabolism, i.e. vitamins, minerals, herbals, amino acids, etc. It is as if Bioperine® activates a metabolic paddle wheel, of sorts, that selectively provides a more efficient mode of nutrient transportation into the blood.

Bioperine® is the only product sourced out of piperine to obtain a patented status for its ability to increase the bioavailability of nutritional compounds. Secondly, it is the only source from piperine to have undergone clinical studies in the U.S. to substantiate its safety and efficacy for nutritional use.

Bioperine® is a registered trademark of Sabinsa Corp. and is protected by U.S. Patents; No. 5,536,506, No. 5,744,161, No. 5,972,382, No. 6,054,585

GINGER ROOT SE Gingerols & Shogaols

Ginger consists of the fresh or dried roots of Zingiber officinale. Ginger is a known diaphoretic, meaning it causes one to sweat. It is also carminative, which means that it helps break up intestinal gas. It also has the ability to cleanse the colon, reduce spasms and cramps, stimulate circulation, and aid metabolism. It is often used as an adjunct to other remedies for general tonic or stimulant purposes. Ginger has long been ascribed aphrodisiac powers as well.

Ginger extracts have been extensively studied for a broad range of biological activities including antibacterial, anticonvulsant, analgesic, antiulcer, gastric antisecretory, antitumor, antifungal, antispasmodic, antiallergenic, and other activities. Gingerols and Shogaols are the pungent chemicals of the herb and have been shown to be inhibitors of prostaglandin biosynthesis.
Other scientific studies show that Gingerols and Shogaols help counter liver toxicity by increasing bile secretion.

Diet is extremely clean, my caloric intake would be about 500 under maintainence, high protein. I have been working out for a few years off and on, but seriously into bbing for the last 12months. I do a 4 day split with cardio 3 times per week, I run outside for 45min. I don't have a set distance because when I am able to run faster the time decreases. I would continue to use whey, multi, fish oil. Creatine if allowed. I would include diet, workout regimen, feelings while on the products, sleep issues (if any), etc.

Now I feel a little like Patrick Arnold in quoting this, but I also wanted to make mention that testers also need to be off all stimulants for 10 days prior to recieving their tester kits.

Also for tha record, tha new Scorch should retail on sites for $29.99 and Vaporize will be the same, it will sell for around $20.

Supplement history: For the most part I have stuck to the basics cosuming my fair share of proteins(WPI,WPC,Gainers, etc) creatines mono's to CEE, BCAA's, EAA's, EFA's, Thermos i.e Scorch, Hydroxy Hardcore, Lipo 6, and any other kind of supp you could think of I might of had it.

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

Diet: I am eating very clean right now as I am cutting, just about a Month into it. I'm a big fan of low carb, high protein, hight fat intake. Following that with a carb up meal every 21st meal last meal of the night. Its been working pretty well for me right now and I haven't had to drop calories super low yet. Here's a typical meal plan that I follow. It dosen't really change that much:

Meal 1: 1 scoop of Ipro protein upon awakening w/ 2 whole eggs and 6 whites, 2 cups green beans

Meal 2: 2 boneless skinless chicken breast w/ large salad (just romaine lettuce about 2 heads) and 2 tbls Almond butter

Meal 3: (Pre workout)2 scoops Ipro w/ a Tbls Natural PB, then off to the Gym in about hour an a half

Meal 4: During workout 10 scoops Extend in a gallon jug w/ some EAA's caps, followed w/ 2 scoops Ipro and 4 grams CEE. I drink this when I do my cardio after every workout.

Meal 5: 14 ounces or so of Tilapia w/ 2 cups broc**** and a tbls of Natural PB

Meal 6: 2 whole eggs w/ a light lettuce only salad and a cup & half of Cottage cheese.

Current Supplements: Ipro protein from Ergopharm, Bulk CEE, Bulk L-leucine, GNC Amino 1800, Extend (megadosing), Scivation Sesamin & CLA, Fish Oil, and a Multi.

Training: I train Mon-Sat taking sunday off. I'm in the midst of switching up my training regimen right and I'm going to try and hit each body part twice a week. For the main part I like to lift heavy and stick to the basics. Yet I'm not afraid to mix it up and keep my body guessing. So I will have that laid out very soon as of this moment I will give you an example of one of my workouts. After every workout I follow it up w/ up 30 to 45 min moderate intensity cardio w/ my heart rate about around 130 to 160. Can't forget good ole cardio.

Typical Leg Day:

Squats (ATG)
set 1 225lbs 20 reps
set 2 275lbs 15 reps
set 3 295lbs 12 reps
set 4 315lbs 6 reps
set 5 315lbs 6 reps
set 6 225lbs 20 reps

Stiffleg deadlifts
set 1 135lbs reps 25
set 2 225lbs reps 15
set 3 275lbs reps 12
set 4 315lbs reps 10
set 5 335lbs reps 6/8

Leg Extensions
set 1 through set 4 I do the whole stack (250lbs) 12 reps. Then I through in one drop set doing single leg extensions usually about 1 set 30 reps with what ever I can manage.

Glute machine:I just do the whole stack 4 sets of 20 reps and just go strait into lunges doing about one walking set to failure w/ 40lbs db in my hands.I also have incorporated a Glute Ham Raise which I find extremly difficult to even do 5 if I'm lucky.

Calves:
Seated Calf Raise After all complete all my sets I will do a drop set
1 set 90 lbs 35 reps taking one 45lbs plate off after another till I can't
2 set 135lbs 30 reps even do 45lbs. After all this its time for 45 mins of
3 set 180lbs 25 reps cardio.
4 set 225lbs 15 reps
5 set 270lbs 10 reps

Thank you for your consideration and I hope I can help you guys out. As I am very intrigged by this stack It looks like the perfect necessity for a amazing stack. Thanks again.

Training experience : Weight training for 10 years on and off. Lately have been serious about getting cut as I always was about adding size.

Current Training Schedule / Protocol (as much detail as possible): I like to do a body part a day (with one day off per week), because I have found that personally when I combine two in the same day I never have that explosive energy to devote to the second body part. For example if I am doing back/bi's if I do back first, when it comes time to do some curls, my strength is gone. Not to mention my nervous system is shot, and my arms suffer for it. I will combine traps and shoulders, and calves and abs with everything, however. Also, I try to do legs the day before my off day, so I can limp around on my day off. Lastly I have found that shoulders can get overworked if done on a day before say biceps or chest or even lats so I try to do shoulder excercises the day before legs. Lastly, I do try to switch this up as much as possible to avoid my body becoming too accustomed to the routine.

Cardio Schedule/Protocol (as much detail as possible): just recently discovered HIIT (thanks to these boards) and that **** works. Anyway, since I gain fat rather easily, lately I have been doing cardio nearly with every workout session, normally I would not do this, however, I have been pretty serious about cutting lately (and have been).

Current supplements (exact brand/product name): Solgar Multi
Body Fortress Whey
Amp occasionally
PowerFULL
Body Fortress NOS

Current Diet and macros (as much detail as possible):Pretty clean, however, occasionally very dirty. Try to eat every few hours something small. Protein bars, whey shakes make up my between meal-meals. The basics, grilled chicken breasts, tuna, eggs, turkey, brown rice, whole wheat bread, natty pb, you know the drill...

Current Daily water intake: at least 2 liters per day

Short Term Goal: Get body fat as low as it has ever been withoput sacrificing too much mass. i know this will be a long process, because any quick loss will likely be muscle mass.

Long Term Goal: get to 8% bf and then add some LBM

ANY and ALL Prescription / Non-Prescription / Recreational drugs: None

Supplement history (as much detail as possible): Been on and off creatine since the Phosphagen days. Multis, C, E, EFA, and zinc for a while now. Have been as high as 175 since those days (one fat little mf'er). Have also tried:

Sesamin
Thyro-cuts 2

Tha same as our original version -- on both accounts :)

Well if its $20 like it says in the BB.com store I think you guys will do well with this. I for one hate taking separate pills so getting sesamin and some fish oil in one pill makes things easier.

Although I don't have much credibility on this board.. I figure you MIGHT be able to use a "guinea pig", in the sense that I've never taken steroids, PH, ephedra/ephedrine, or even a stim ever.. The only things that have ever entered my body are protein, bulk cee/Green Bulge/Thunder, fish oil, green tea, multi and of course FOOD! When the revised CLOUT comes out, it will be ordered immediately!

***My goal with using this stack would be to minimize fat while gaining some "good" pounds. :)***

Age: 20 (will be 21 in 2 days!).

Height: 5'7".

Weight: 150, around 18% BF (estimate).

Sex: Male.

Body type: Endomorph

Supplement history: Protein (whey), Creatine (Thunder, Green Bulge, Bulk CEE), Fish Oil, Multi, Green Tea.

Prescription/Recreational drugs: None.

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

Diet right now is becoming better and better..
A typical day for me would include:

9:00a - Protein shake (1 scoop whey 25g protein, 2 tbsp pb, 1 cup oats, 16oz skim milk.. sometimes I will add 2-3 eggwhites).

10:00a - Bowl of oats and a fruit.

12:00p - Two burgers (7% fat patties, wholegrain/wheat buns).

2:30p - Two pb sandwiches (wholegrain/wheat bread).

3:30p - Mixture of 2 scoops whey + 3 servings XTend sipped on pre/during/post WO

5:30p - Another bowl of oats and more fruits.

7:00p - Steak and protein shake (the same shake as the one taken at 9:00am, minus the pb).

9:00p - Pb sandwich (wholegrain/wheat bread).

A typical day is around 2500-2800 cals.

I AM CURRENTLY RUNNING YOUNG_SQUATTER'S DUAL FACTOR HYPERTROPHY ROUTINE.. I am only on week 1, so there is MUCH room for improvements! The routine can be seen here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=575966

It's basically this:

Monday - UPPER BODY STRENGTH (BB Bench, BB Rows, Should Press, Pushdowns, DB Curls).

Tuesday - LOWER BODY STRENGTH (Squats, Deads, Leg Press).

Wednesday - OFF

Thursday - UPPER BODY HYPERTROPHY (Speed Bench, Incline DB Press, DB Shoulder Press, CG Bench, Seated Rows, DB Curls, Lat Pulldowns).

Friday - LOWER BODY HYPERTROPHY (Speed Squats, Squats, Stiffleg Deads, Hacks, Weighted Hyperextensions).

WEEKEND - OFF

*All workouts are followed by at least 25 mins. of low-mid intensity cardio*

That's pretty much it. Again like I said, I know I have no rep on this board, but I am an honest guy with a definitely positive attitude about getting myself to look above average. If I want something, I don't give up until it's mine.. I will also follow any kinds of changes to my program or diet that you guys suggest, since I'm sure any changes would only be for the better.

Another thing, I am in Chula Vista, which is minutes away from you guys. But then again I don't know why that would matter, LOL. Just thought I'd try to get some + points! :P

I have included a picture of me also.

I'm definately interested. I used to be in great shape, and worked out religously then I let myself go for whatever reason. Now I reclaimed my "religion" and I've been working out 5-6 days a week, for about 2.5 months now, and I've kept to it. I've increased my lean body mass, but I could definately use the help with the fat loss.

Age: 25

Height: 6'1"

Supplement history: Androstene, Ripped Fuel, RevXp, Xenadrine, Nitro Tech, Cell Tech, Mucle Milk, Whey Protein, Myoplex, Phosphagen Hp Creatine, SizeOn, Flax seed oil, Vitamin C

Prescription/Recreational drugs: Alcohol

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

My current diet is clean I'm not eating red meat only chicken and fish, I plan on adding red meat back into my diet after Easter. I eat six meals a day and I am consuming 500-600 cals under maintenance. I've been somewhat inconsistently losing 2lbs per week for the past four weeks. I take in a great deal of protein, and was going to start a new creatine regiment if permitted. I

My training would remain the same. I weight train on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday along with cardio. I also do cardio on the days in between with Sunday off. My focus right now is increasing my lean body mass, so I do high weight low reps. This isn't helping to much with the fat issue, so I could definately use the boost there.

My log would consist of : Energy levels, Overall physical feeling, Training Performance, and Weekly weight and measurements.

Chronic’s information:

I would like to test this.

Current Stats:
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 205 lbs.
Body Type: Athletic

Workout Schedule:
I do a custom Split, depending on what I want to do that day. This is an example of last weeks’ workout schedule:
Mon: Heavy Squats
Tues: Chest/Tri’s
Wed: Heavy DL
Thur: Back/Bi’s
Fri: Boxing/Cardio/Abs
Sat: Light Squats/Light Powercleans
Sun: Off

Training and Experience:

I've been lifting and working out since I was 14 years old. I’ve played sports my while life: Football and baseball throughout HS with a solid lifting regime. I’ve tried plenty of methods, including, WSBB, DC, Max-OT, 5x5, and I like my own regime the best. I do as many reps as I want to do, usually 6-8, and as many sets as I want until I feel good about it.

Cardio:

I don’t really do planned cardio often. Sometimes late at night I just get in the mood to go for a run, and I go for a run. Sometimes when I get angry, I decide to go to do a boxing circuit cardio thing I made up. It all depends on how I feel on a certain day with what kind of cardio I would be doing.

Current Diet:

I eat between 5-7 meals per day. Right now I'm aiming for around 2000-2300 calories per day. I eat clean 5-6 days per week. I don’t log calories and write down everything I eat all the time. I basically did that for a year and decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. I eat basically this: Grilled Chicken, tuna, peanut butter, wheat bread, apples, bananas, sun chips, and baked lays. Sometimes cheeseburgers when I go out to eat on the weekends. I have a solid grasp on my appetite and it really doesn’t pahse me to go into a cal deficit or a cal surplus, it’s all just as easy for me.

Water Intake:

At least 1.5 to 2.0 gallons per day.

Short-term Goal:

Less than 11%BF @ whatever weight it takes.

Long-term Goal:

Less than 10%BF @ 215lbs. or more.

Current Supplements:
Opti Men Multi
USPLabs Cissus RX
Taurine
Vit C
Various Stims

Supplement History:

I have used too many supplements to even try to list them all here. Almost everything that is worthwhile the last year or so.

Would love to try out this stack. Currently using the original Vaporize right now but would stop taking it at a drop of a dime to give this stack a try!

Age: 22

Height: 5'7"

Weight: 165

Sex: M

Body type: meso-Ecto

Supplement history: Creatine mono, cell-tech, gutamine, CLA, ripped fuel, AMP, Thermal Rage, Multi, fish oil, Sesamax, Neuro Stim + C, San v12 Turbo, H+Blocker and CE-XL stack, Xtend and all sorts of protein.

Some of these supps i'm currently taking some of them i've taken in the past. Currently I am using: AMP, San V12 turbo, multi, fish oil, Vaporize, Xtend and a variety of protein powders.

Prescription/Recreational drugs:
A beer with friends now and again

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

I am currently cutting and my diet is very clean. Just started cutting very recently and plan on possibly competing in a few months. Current diet consists of 6-7 meals a day all approximately 320 cals a meal. A sample day would be:

Meal 1 (breakfast): 1/2 cup oats(dry) cooked in water
1 scoop wpi
1 banana

Gym: PWO shake, 1.5 scoops wpi, 30grms dex

Meal 2: PWO meal appx 45min after PWO shake
1 small chicken breast
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
2 cups broc****

Meal 3: MRP of 1 scoop muscle milk or mass meal, 1 scoop casein protein blend from tp.com and 8-10 oz skim milk

Meal 4: 1 small chicken breast
3 cups broc****

Meal 5: 2 whole eggs
2 egg whites

Meal 6: Pre-bed same as meal 3.

Training:
Training has continually gotten more intense as I become more focused on cutting. Currently working on a 5 day split with HIIT on at least 3 days a week. A sample week would look like this:

day 1: Chest: barbell flat bench: 5x5
incline db 8x4
decline hammer strength 8x4
Cable flys at all angles, weighted dips 8x4

day 2: Back: weighted chins 8x4
dumbbell rows 8x4
lat pulldowns 8x4
wide grip seated rows 8x4

Rest day= 20-30 min HIIT on treadmill or track
10 min of core excercises

day 3: Legs: Squats 8x4
deadlifts 5x5
leg press 8x4
hamstring curls 8x4

day 4: Bi's and Tri's: Seated dumbbell curls 8x4
standing inside hammer curls 8x4
straight bar curls 8x4
Skull crushers 8x4
weighted dips 8x4
bent over tricep extensions 8x4

Rest day= 20-30min HIIT and 10min of core excercises

Day 5: Shoulders: Seated dumbbell presses 8x4
various cable raises and rear delt
excercises. 8x4
Shrugs 6x5

rest day= No lifting at all

rest day= HIIT and core

Supplements that would still be using with the stack. Per the original request I will stop all stims at least 10 days prior to starting the stack. Will continue to use addtl fish oils if allowed, multi. If considered food based will continue using Xtend, if not i'll drop it.

Will have no problems posting up before and after pics and progress pics along the way. Will also update on a daily basis in reg to workout, energy, meals eaten, changes in diet or training and of course personal experience on the stack.

Current goal is to drop as much BF as possible, try to get down to 5-6% BF and maintain it as long as possible. Currently I am somewhere between 10-12% BF and having a hard time shedding any addtl weight. It has slowed down dramatically. This stack may be just what I need to kick my ass back into gear.

As I've told others, I'm not the most detailed when it comes to logs, but this one is definately up my alley. I was just about to buy something like this, and vaporize was on my list of those to try.

Age:32 (in April)

Height:75"

Weight:220lbs

Sex:male

Body type:lanky/skinny fat!

Supplement history:The usual flax/fish oils, multi, proteins, creatines, weight gainers, tons of preworkout stuff (amp, fast twitch, STIZM, body octane, etc) tried a broken cycle of E...MAx a while ago - just got done with 1AD/4AD cycle that went well. All of that has taken me from a skinny/weak 185/190 to a stronger but chubby 220lbs in the last year or so.

Prescription/Recreational drugs:those days are loooooong gone ;) unless you got something, yeah? :D

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)? Diet right now, focusing on higher protein/fat and lower carb. Holding off on breads and pastas as much as possible in order to lose weight.
eggs for breakfast
bowl oatmeal at work
high fiber bread/turkey'n'cheese sandwich lunch
protein snack
protein/bcaa's preworkout
protein/bcaa's post workout
high protein/low carb dinner
shake before bed
Using Xtend right now, but will cease shortly (almost done with the bottle anyway) I use a couple protein shakes a day - nothing added to them like oats or anything. I have some pct to do with 60x0 from the 1ad/4ad, then I'm just going to be on a multivit (fish oil too) and was going to buy something with sesamin to help with weight loss. My main focus right now is maintain strength but also gain some speed/agility and lose some weight for soccer. I do some uphill sprint training a couple times a week, and cycling other days. Going to start jumprope sessions next week as well. I also work out with a soccer ball just practicing moves and such - a small cardio style workout. For weights, I don't go too heavy right now, more 5x5 type, just for conditioning and maint. Sticking to basic compound moves, only a couple isolation type moves. Lots of core workout stuff on a swiss ball, balancing moves, sit ups, etc. I will also incorperate short workout of plymetrics and jump training - try to get the vertical back to where it was back in my v-ball days ;)

If I did a log, I'd have body weight info, exercises, possibly diet (although that remains pretty constant right now) and photos of before, during, and after. I've already got before (fatty) photos on my pc as my 'motivation' to get back down to a decent playing weight. I don't know bodyfat, but I feel that the mirror and scale are the only two tools I need - not to mention, body fat doesn't mean anything to a soccer goalie:p I feel like if I can lose about 10lbs going into summer, then I can really get conditioned to play the qualifying season in fall. (right now it's just regular games, fall = tournament time)

Additions to Scorch looks excellent.

One question though - have you severed your ties with AL regarding licensing Sesathin?

I used the name SesaThin on our label as a way to help AL brand the name/promote it.

Unfortunately I only feel comfortable guaranteeing 50% total sesamin lignans per serving - even though our lab assay tested out at around 63% - and AL uses a 60%.

I guess, by me having the SesaThin on the label while stated 50% total sesamin lignans, I may not be "Keeping It Real" ;-) as some might of put it. So I simply list it as Sesamin.

I feel that I would be a perfect tester for the SCORCH/Vaporize combination...the reasons for this is that I have been a faithful/loyal MAN product user and supporter for years, and I have used every single product in the MAN line-up....I have done reviews for CLOUT and BOdy Octane, the new and old version, and will continue to user ur fantastically innovative products in the future, regardless of whether or not I am selected:

Stats: 22 years old
188 lbs
8-9% BF
Currently cutting for the summer (gotta love the 6-pack!)

I have also used sesamin based products in the past from both Scivation and Avant Labs and could do a comparison between the three products if you would desire me to do so....I am currently doing HIIT 2-3 times per week. Lates ;)

Basically for the last month I have been 180, with no progress.I would love the oppurtunity to try this. Im on a strict diet so this would probably get me over the edge.

Height: 5'10''

Weight: 186 lbs

Body type: Ecto
Note: Because I am an ecto, it is very hard for me to not loose alot of muscle when I cut. Therefore, my cutting diet is usually only slightly less in calories, and I switch up carbs for more protein like chicken and tuna. This of ocurse makes cutting painfully slow, otherwise I'd lose all the muscle mass I gained that year. Hoping that Scorch/Vaporize can help me speed up cutting AND preserve as much muscle mass as possible.

Currently taking: today is my last day on Nos Ether and No-Xplode

Diet:

Bowl of rice
Handful of beef
Cup of bok choy (chinese mustard greens)
No-Xplode shake

Triple decker PBJ sandwhich and 3 lowfat cheese sticks

Protein shake with Dextrose and Glutamine

Workout

Day 2: Rest
Day 3: Legs
Day 4: Chest
Day 5: Back
Day 6: Triceps. Calves, Abs, Tai Chi (legs)
Day 7: Rest

Supps I will be on while on scorch/vaporize if allowed:
Just creatine (planning to try cell fuel by ergopharm) and maybe activate and retain (mainly to retain as much muscle mass as possible, however if scorch is just as goodor better at preserving muscle mass, I will not take these)

Hi! Yes, I've been reading and just wanted to check out all the ingredients and research a bit on my own and have come to the conclusion that I would LOVE to test these products! Now, on to the good stuff!

Age: 25

Height: 6'

Weight: 180 Roughly 25% bodyfat

Sex: Female

Body type: Meso/Endo Very Athletic

Supplement history: ON Whey, generic mulit, generic fish oil

Prescription/Recreational drugs: Birth Control Pills (Yasmin)

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

The only supps I would take with it are the ones you had specified earlier that were allowed.

I have never used a stimulant fat burner so I am a clean slate :). I have been training with heavy weights for one year and have kept an extensive journal in the female bb section for 1 year:

http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=442199

Weights
Currently I am on a 3 day full body routine with 2 heavy days, 1 light day. This consists of squats, sldl's, bench press, military press, assisted pull ups/dips, flys, lunges, skullcrushers, bb rows, hamstring curl, leg press, and calf raises. I have seen the best strength gains/fat loss with this program.

Cardio
Currently 3 times a week of 25 minutes moderate intensity cardio. Will start Alpha Cardio shortly and phase out one weight training session. Intend to increase cardio to 4 times a week at 30 minutes (1 alpha session of 40 minutes).

Nutrition
6 meals a day of clean protein/carbs/fat at about 40/40/20 and 1800-2100 cals per day. Proper pre and post workout meals. Cheat meals as needed, not to exceed 1 per week. Will keep fitday or nutridiary log if needed.

Goals
To drop about 5-7% bodyfat by the end of June. That will put me at roughly 160-165 lbs. Would really like to slide into a size 8 pair of jeans! Currently a 12.

Why should you pick me/What will I keep in my log?
I will keep a detailed and consistent log as I am currently doing with my journal (post at least 5x a week). I have never tested any products before, and thus have no expectations about what I'm "supposed" to feel. I will be honest and thorough. And most important, I will post PICS before and after :D.

I will also post my before and after bodyfat (done by calipers) and measurements.

Thanks for reading my application and I am just so excited to even apply....think about how exciting my log would be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

TheUnlikelyToad

With all this heavy lifting and trying to eat as much as possible, and then dropping wieght before a meet......well its not easy. Most of my training is low rep high weight, i follow a bit of the west side style. My diet is high calorie, high protein to fit my extensive exercise needs. I have time to bulk up but no time to get ripped. I have emailed Jordan and discussed the Man products and am excited in trying them. I have yet to see a six pack and am looking for something that works, this product sounds promising.

Yes, my first semester here I competed in the Power of the Pride powerlifting meet and set the college record for my weight: i weighed in at 165 and my raw bench was 340lbs. I do have a digi cam and often take pictures/movies of my lifts to watch my form, so yea taking pictures of my progress would be no problem!!

Currently i'm coming off my bulking phase (in about a week or two..currently around 14% BF) and going to go into my cutting phase. I lift 3-4 times per week and run at the track (do cardio) once a week or so just to make sure i can still move (warm up, run 1.5 miles, all out sprint .5 miles, cooldown) . Not getting carried away with cardio at all yet, as i'm just preparing for my cutting phase.

As far as logs go, i'd have no problem posting daily if requested. However if you prefer a free-flow posting style i suppose once every 2 days with an update on day-day life overall.

Aside from the fact that your product would help with cutting, i think i could benefit from the whole caffeine / enhanced blood flow to brain effects... as i'm not a morning person...at all. :D

Application for Segansational

I'm currently looking to start cutting for summer, so this would be great if I was chosen.

Age: 22

Height: 5' 6"

Weight: 153 lbs

Sex: Male

Body type: Mesomorph/Endomorph, somewhere in between I think

Supplement history: Creatine Monohydrate, ZMA, CLA, HMB, Hydroxycut Ephedra Free, No-Xplode, Cell Mass

Prescription/Recreational drugs: None

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

Diet - Currently I am on the BSN No-xplode/Cell Mass stack and trying to bulk. I aim to eat 5 or 6 meals a day. I eat three meals without worrying about fat/calorie content, and the other meals are for additional protein. An average day could look something like this:

Meal 1 - 2 servings instant oatmeal
Meal 2 - 1/2 cup of peanuts
Meal 3 - chicken sandwich
Meal 4 - post workout protein shake
Meal 5 - chicken parmigiana with spaghetti
Meal 6 - protein shake

Training - The current routine I am on is a 4 day a week split, 3 sets of 10, as follows:

Monday - Chest and Back

Incline DB Press
Flat Bench DB Press
Cable Crossovers
Lat Pulldown
Seated Row
Pull ups to failure

Wednesday - Shoulders

Seated DB Press
Smith Machine Shrugs
Front Raises
Side Raises
Swiss Ball Crunches

Thursday - Legs

Leg Press
Leg Extensions
Seated Leg Curl
Seated Calf Raises
Ab Machine

Saturday - Arms

EZ bar curls
Alternate DB Hammer Curls
Alternate DB Biceps Curls
Straight Bar Triceps Pressdown
Triceps Rope Extension
Single Arm Reverse Grip Pulldowns

Note: Due to weekend time constraints, wed and thurs sometimes get put together, i.e. MWF split. I would probably change this routine slightly and add cardio during the test period.

Additional Supplementation: I would continue protein shakes, a multi, and fish oils while testing.

I can provide before and after pictures if requested.

Summary: I have never done a test for any supplement company before and would be very excited to test these products out. They fit well with my current goals. I keep journal entries of all my workouts in a notebook anyways, so it would just require posting. I don't have any product reviews posted on BB.com, but I am planning on putting my BSN review up when I finish in about 2 weeks. Note: I would not be able to start a log until then. If you are looking for someone who will provide results for the average individual as far as lifting and diet is concerned, I would be a great person to choose. Thanks!

I've only been lifting/active for 2 years. Im a recovering fatty. Have lost around 130lbs in 2 years. Lift 4-5 days a week depending on my split At the moment my split is:
Monday: Chest/Triceps
Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Chest
Friday: Back/biceps
Saturday: Shoulders/Traps
Sunday: Off

Im trying a new 10 week chest blizt program. Normally I only lift chest once a week.

I do cardio 5 days a week as well in the morning on an empty stomach. Two days HIIT and three days regular. Usually 45 minutes to an hour a session.

My diet is very clean. Eggs(3 whites to 1 yolk), chicken breast, tuna, oats, salad, cottage cheese, natural peanut butter, almonds, kashi, lots of fruit, protein shakes and an occasional protein bar when needed.

I would be willing to drop all supps if neccessary. I have had lots of experience with fat burners and believe I could be an excellent judge since I have tried so many. More than listed here since I cant remember all ive tried.

I'm very dedicated and i've been working out seriously for almost 4 years now. I workout Chest/Shoulders/Triceps together. Biceps and Back together. Legs and Abs together and thats about it. I workout every body part about every 5-6 days to give plenty of recooperation but i think i could speed this up if i had a better supplement. Right now im currently only on Whey protein and i have some creatine but i'm not taking it. I eat very clean, high protein, low fat, somewhat low carbs, but i make sure to get the good fats. I use try and use a 50/30/20 ratio 50 percent protein, 30 percent carbs and 20 percent fat. I eat a lot probably around 6-8 meals a day. In the summer i'm even more dedicated because i dont have to worry about school. I would include in my log all my lifts, and my progress after each workout.

This will be the first time I cut so i have never used a thermogenic product, or any products like Vaporize or Scorch. The closest thing to a thermo I have felt would be a coffee in the morning every now and then.

I have never taking any prohormones/AAS or anything related to these products.

Prescription/Recreational drugs: None

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)?

My diet is very strict and my training now is low reps, heavy weight. Ive been training for 1 and a half years and have put on 48lbs (mostly lean) in that time. I don't count calories to a T, but am aware of the caloric values of the foods i eat and can adjust them accordingly for when I cut. I can do this because i basically eat the same thing everyday. I generally follow a 50/50 carb to protein ratio, due to the fact I am a hard gainer and need my carbs and ive found for me this works the best for gaining muscle mass.

A sample diet would look like (Things can change because I go to school and work 3-4 days a week):

Meal 1:
1 scoop ON Whey
16oz Milk
1 Cup of Oats

Meal 2:
2 Turkey Sanwiches on whole wheat
16oz Milk

Meal 3(Pre w/o):
1 scoop ON Whey
16oz Milk
1 Cup of Oats

Meal 4(Post w/o):
2 scoops ON Whey
16oz Water
1 Cup of Oats

Meal 5:
Protein Rich meal. (usually moms home cooking, tuna sandwiches or Subway)

Meal 6:
1 scoop ON Whey
16oz Milk
1 Cup of Oats

That would be a general bulking day. Im always snacking on Almonds and drinking plenty of water too. Obviously this will be adjusted during my cut, but its an idea of how strict I am with my diet.

My Training Schedual is:
Mon: Chest
Tues: Back
Wed: Off
Thurs: Legs
Fri: Shoulders
Sat: Arms
Sun: Off

At times I may have to switch a few days around due to work, but I always get my 5 workouts in the 7 day week. During my cut I'll plan to do Cardio 3 times a week in the morning, in conjunction with me playing a fair bit of street hockey with the boys, this will be more then enough cardio.

For my logs I would include a full breakdown of workouts including #of sets, weights used and Type of exercise. Here is an outline I followed for my last log.

Day 23- Back

Dosages for products

General statement about workout. (ie. had a great workout today!)

Workout w/exercises, sets, weights

Indepth analysis of workout.

Mid log I will do a positive/negative/overall impression of the stack as well as at the end of the log. Ive only done 1 log on here, but as you can see its very detailed and i enjoyed updating it and keeping track of my progress.

Syntrax Swole V3
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=723540

Supps I will take with the stack are Fish Oil, Multi, Bulk CEE. Thats all.

PS. I think its great that your giving overseas and international board members a chance to test your products.

Thanks

As far as bodybuilding.com, I would assume very shortly thereafter.

Ok guys, here's tha deal...

It was never our intention to drag this out, but we never really thought we'd get this type of response either. Shawn, Darrick, and I have been debating our picks over tha last three nights. Each of us have different criteria for testers. While Shawn (Androgenic) would would like more specific technical data involving a wide range of demographics, Darrick liked tha idea of ulitizing a fresher crop of testers. My ideas brought me to those who I genuinely thought embodied The Kingdom of MAN.

Tonight we give you 5 testers:

Chronicdrummer9
gresh
UberBerzerker
SixPack
Mills686

These are tha fab five in which all three of us were in agreement of selecting. This does not mean that prior submissions will not be chosen. Again, it's just taking a little longer than expected. Thankfully Joey has given us his full support.

Those on tha list please EMAIL me your full name & address to:

Jordan@mansports.com

Disclaimer: Remember testers must be off of all stimulants for at least 10 days prior to use of the stack. Testers can ONLY use these products in regards to metabolic accelerators. You can still take your MRP’s, EFA’s, multi’s as well as protein powders and BCAA's but MUST be off of everything else. NO test boosters, nitric oxide supplements or CREATINE allowed. This is in effort to legitimize feedback by taking out as many variables as possible. We feel if you are using these products for what they were designed for, ergogenics for building muscle should not be your main focus at this time.

ALL testers must also post BIWEEKLY PROGRESS PICTURES along with your TRAINING & DIET LOGS. If for whatever reason you cannot, please notify us ASAP. We apologize as this wasn't made clear from the beginning.

I just want to reiterate what Toad posted. I want these logs and the users to represent a wide range of demographics (age, sex, weights, etc.). I've collected data for scientific studies before and I am bringing my knowledge here to get as true of results as possible. Further, I want the data to be complied to yield the most accurate numbers, but also the best qualitative observations (e.g. energy, libido, focus, mental performance, sleep cycle, diet, caloric intake, fluid weight loss, fat mass loss, strength maintained, etc.). Also, I am excited to see the results of what I am coining the ESV stack (ephedrine/Scorch/Vaporize).

The MAN team is looking for different things and we must come to an agreement, sort of like ESPN's Knight School if you caught that. So we are at a crossroads now and almost there. We may go back and pick some of those that already entered applications and we may pick a new application as well. So I encourage anyone who wants to be a part of this to post an app. Anyone who already did so, yes, hope still is alive ("So you're saying there's a chance!" - Dumb and Dumber).

To those that don't get picked. I still would love for you to try this stack. It's scientifically formulated. Scorch and Vaporize we're loved and well reivewed prior and quite frankly (and not Steven a. Smith), the best got better. I am proud of this formulation and know it will be efficacious. I'd still love to get logs, thoughts, posts on here, my email, or on MANsports.com Thanks for your patience. It will be worth it...I promise.

I run 6 times a week in the mornings. I run at a moderate pace, to help burn fat. My weight training is done with maximum intensity, 35-45 minutes never more: heavy weight, low reps, changing up exercises, techniques, grips, negatives, etc. from week to week.
I just got serious about training in 2006.

LOG:

I would include a daily log of calories taken in, changes from planned eating or workout schedule, workout intensity, general feelings, noticed changes in body, sleep, attitude, emotions. Daily weight measurement and weekly Bodyfat taken. Biweekly photos are not a problem ( if you want weight training results, I can add those too)

SUPPLEMENTS WHILE TESTING:

Mulit-vitamin, whey protein, flax seeds, homeblend of ZMA at night, aloe caps.

GENERAL COMMENTS ABOUT TESTING FOR MAN:

This would be my first time testing a product, and I have applied because I think it would be fun and keep me really focused on my goal of transforming my body this year.

Age: 22
Sex: M
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 190
Body type: mesomorph

Training Experience:
variety of training in high school (stamina and weight training for wrestling, sprinting/jumping-based interval running, explosive weight lifting and plyos in track, endurance and speed work for XC running) and currently in college I've been lifting for over a year now with a serious diet and exercise routine. I have done 3 and 4 day split body routines running the gamut of routines from supersetting opposing muscle groups all week, pyramiding, to 5x5 and now a hybrid program which I detail below...

Current Training Schedule / Protocol:

Monday - Legs:
squat 5x5
SLDL 5x5
leg press 3x8-10
leg curls 3x8-10
crunches and hanging reverse crunches

Wednesday - Push:
bench press 5x5
overhead press 5x5
incline bench press 3x8-10
dips 3x8-10
oblique crunches and side bends

Friday - Pull:
deadlift 5x3
power cleans 5x3
pull-ups 5x5
bent over rows 5x5
crunches and hanging reverse crunches

Cardio Schedule/Protocol:
3-4 days a week I will be doing varied sprint interval workouts on a 400m track or varied trail running (2 miles or so) depending on the weather

Current Supplements:
Centrum Performance multivitamin 2x daily
Molecular Nutrition X-Factor
Controlled Labs GlycerGrow
Universal Nutrition Storm

Comparable Supplement/Product History:
I've stacked PrimaForce CreaForm creatine mono with Iovate Nitroxy3 on bulk
Controlled Labs Green Bulge/White Blood and GB/WB/GG on bulk and cut
Universal Nutrition Storm/Shock Therapy on bulk
BioTest Hot Rox on a cut

Prescription / Non-Prescription / Recreational drugs:
I'm a good boy aside from the occasional beer.

Are you currently being treated for any known medical conditions?
No, sir.

Current Diet & Macros (please be detailed)
Bulking on XF - 4000 calories a day on workout days, 3500ish on off days
I shoot for a 40/30/30 ratio of CHO/PRO/FAT by kcal
At 6 meals a day, it breaks down to about 650 kcal per meal
265 kcal CHO = 66g
200 kcal PRO = 50g
200 kcal FAT = 22g
Everything I eat is pretty clean, the only fast food I ever eat is Subway and that's very infrequent. I think the worst thing I eat is the occasional frozen pizza because of the bleached flour.

Current Daily Water Intake:
1.5-2 gallons usually (I drink a half gallon just in the hour I'm working out!)

Links to Past Logs & Reviews:
Here is my current workout log here on bb.com where I have at least posted comments or reviewed Green Bulge, White Blood, Storm, Shock Therapy, GlycerGrow, and now X-Factor: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=628448
X-Factor test starts here:
http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...38#post8921938

Are you willing to post "before" & "after" photos?
Yes

Why should you be selected as a tester?
I make an excellent guinea pig because I am very thorough and consistent with my diet and training. I almost never missing a workout and almost always hitting my macros spot on. Bottom line, I am dedicated to making the most of everything I put in my body and every bit of training I do to better myself as an athlete and aesthetically.

I'd want to be able to take a creatine while testing, but if that's not appropriate I'd be fine with that as well.

Age: 18

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 196 lbs.

Sex: Male

Body type: Mesomorph

Supplement history: I've only used Whey Protein to this point.

Prescription/Recreational drugs: I take a small, small dose of Melatonin shortly before I go to sleep.

Please also give some details on your diet and training, along with what you would include in your log if chosen. Also, what additional supplements would you be taking with Scorch/Vaporize if chosen(food-based only)? I try to keep my diet as clean as possible, I usually eat 5000 calories or so on a bulk, and around 3000 on a typical, not bulking not cutting day. I also try to stick to the 40/30/30 ratio with carbs/protein/fats. I'd include daily BF measurements, though that might not be completely necessary, so I'd say Bi or Tri-Weekly. Additionally, I'd include Reps/Sets/Exercise, and how I'm feeling on the particular day of the workout.

Training:
Mostly based on compound lifts, based upon a 5x5

I could really use a thermogenic, as I'm around 18-19% BF :(.

I do weights in the morning and cardio at night, 5 days a week, ive been doing this for 2 months solid, been lifting for about 2-3 years, 1-2 years seriously.

i eat every 2-3 hours (have been for two months now) my meals are protein heavy, but i am not cutting carbs or anything, just getting more protein than carbs where i can.

I am currently on small cut just trying to lose around 3-7 lb. of fat, hopefully enough to get my waist slimed for the summer time.

If chosen this would be my first log, but i would follow the formats from some of the better logs i have read. I would be able to include before and after pics and would be taking only ON's Whey protein.
