Ingredients
4 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder (BSN Lean Desert Chocolate Coconut used in recipe shown)
4 packets Splenda
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet sugar free fat free raspberry jello

Directions:
1 - Mix the protein powder with the splenda, baking powder, cocoa powder and vanilla extract.

2 - Then add ~180 ? 200ml of water and mix into a chocolaty batter.

3 - Pour batter into a shallow microwave safe bowl and microwave it on high for 1 min 40 sec. (or until it
turns into a spongy almost cake like object)

4 - Put the newly made spongy cake object into a large bowl and CRUSH IT!

5 - Mix the jello powder with 200ml of hot water, and pour it into the crushed chocolate mix, and mix the two together well.

6 - Pour the mixture into a cake mold and cover with saran wrap, then put in the fridge overnight (or however long it takes for the jello to set)

Looks really nice.
One question. Whats the nutrional value like for BSN desert? Would i be able to make this but by using something like 2 scoops of Optimum 100% double rich chocolate whey?

here's a link to the nutritional breakdown of BSN Lean Desert: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/dessert.html

I would actually have preferred to have made it with an isolate or ON chocolate whey, but I didn't have any of those when I was making this.

The lean desert has more carbs than I would like, but it still came out with a really low carb content, just couldn't eat the whole thing in one day on keto like you can if you make it with a lower carb protein powder.

tried it, dunno if its cause i used black cherry instead of raspberry jello(couldnt find it!), but its not that appetizing, or at all...
w/ some peanut butter topping and carb free whip cream on top it was a bit more edible, but honestly, the pb and whip cream made it..

wow.

needed to revive this thread, because I made this last night - used choc mint whey, added some ground flax meal and topped it off with whipped cream. DELICIOUS.

I'm gonna have a hard time trying not to finish the whole thing today..

man, thanks for the recipe. i tried it the first time and i put a little bit too much water and so the mixture came all watery and came out ok, then i tried it a second time and put the exact amount that i need and it came out PERFECT!,then i put a package almonds in a food processor and chop them and put them into a bowl with a 1 tablespoon of melted butter, then put on top of the cake then fridge overnight and inverted the cake and POOF! a raspberry rocky road(thats what i had) cake w/ almond crust and top it off with homemade whipping cream.

Man, I wish I wouldn't even have opened this thread. I am starving at work right now and that looks SO good.

I actually made this back when the thread first started. I used 50% ON Extreme Milk Chocolate and 50% TP Chocolate Complete Milk Protein Isolate (80% casein) instead of the BSN Lean Desert. I also used strawberry Jello as I didn't have Raspberry.

The cake turn out totally awesome, perfectly moist. I had to microwave it a little extra time as the middle was still wet.

All in all great considering it's pure protein.
