pretty good aquisition.. Solid defensive player.. Will come off the bench and do good during their playoff run.

I wanted the Raptors to get him. At least this probably means that Artest isn't going to San Ant.

yeah the celtics need to do something...the big 3 are not going to be enough to compete this year if they make it to the finals...so do the cavs....

go lakers

Thomas can still knock down the open jumper, good post defender and rebounder but a first round pick plus two decent role players??? Seems like quite a bit for me for a 36-year old who could retire any year now.

Is kurt still as good as he was 10 years ago with the Knicks? I'm surprised he's still playing basketball, I thought he retired.

OK pickup, but what the hell happened to going for Artest?

They're slightly improved, but nothing dramatic.

GREAT trade for San Antonio..

Kurt Thomas is a great post defender, smart, player, makes the jumpers..great complimentary player for Duncan, and they can now match Bynum/Gasol defensively..he is also an expiring contract..so next year, the Spurs get rid of Finley, Horry, Vaughn and Thomas(if he doesn't work out)..Splitter comes in and they have enough $$$ to sign some young players..smart move..

They really are amazing. Whereas Dallas and Phoenix got big names, San Antonio actually improved.
