Time for something a little bit different fellas. Starting today, I'm making an offer to my bb.com brethren to post (in this thread) your favorite Universal/Animal product and to tell me why it is your favorite. The 10 best answers--the 10 responses that I like the most, will win that particular product. I'm leaving the deadline open-ended to see what kind of response this generates. The usual rules apply (18 yrs. or older with a US mailing address, haven't won anything from me in the past 30 days). When I'm wrapping up the promo, I'll post my list of 10 winners. These chosen 10 will then email me at gdiesel@animalpak.com with their full name, mailing address and bb.com handle. Good luck boys... Looking forward to reading your replies. Peace, G

Shock Therapy.

I find that, especially for those early morning workouts, it gives me the energy I need to not only to my workout, but do it at the intensity that I want to be at. I also find that I get solid pumps from it. Great product.

Eh, I don't necessarily want to win, but I must admit that your Ultra Whey Pro Strawberry is BY FAR the best tasting strawberry whey on the market. Labrada's V60 is close, but nothing else is even in the same ballpark without being loaded with fat and/or carbs. I wish you guys made it in the ultra-Iso, but regardless, a good Strawberry Whey is so hard to find that Whey Pro is definitely my favorite Universal Product.

I just came to the end of my shock therapy/storm stack and i have to say i was very impressed. i originally took the stack because i am in college and have limited funds and from the reviews i read it was the best over all choice economically. i had previously taken BSN NO-explode and was very pleased with their product, but i would put ST up against it and you only have to take 1 scoop and it has 50 servings. The storm is what really made the stack complete though, i was finishing off a jug of regular creatine mono. about a week into when i started taking the storm. since then i gained about 10 lbs. on my bench and the pumps were awsome.

just to say i was pleasantly suprised. wish more companys had more "economical" stacks

I am not eligible to win, due to the Real Gains Strawberry flavor I won a few weeks ago, but it is really good. I can drink the entire serving & not feel overly bloated like some other mass gainers I've tried.

Since receiving my trial of this, I have actually bought another bucket...here's why:

While it is high in Malto, it also contains a decent mix of more desireable ingredients, like Flaxseed oil and MCTs which are a nice addition to the mix. Its protein mix is highest in whey, but also contains micellar as well, making it a good 'jack of all trades' in my cupboard.

Being a busy person, working 40+, getting my Masters at night, and still going to the gym 3-4 times a week, its nice to have something that fills the quick 'meal', post workout, or PM protein / carb source, since I dont always have the time to make a "meal".

Its also a mild enough flavor (not overly sweet like some 'gainer', probably due to its MCT and Flax content) that I can mix other proteins (Cherry I-pro works great) or fruits in it to adjust the macro's of the shake to accomodate when I take it. Ie,
Post workout mix - 1 scoop RG, 1 scoop WPI, 16oz water
Night time - 1 scoop RG, 12 ounces milk, tablespoon flax oil
Morning - 1 scoop RG, 1 scoop WPI, some fruits.

Animal Pak
Why? The supplement facts are amazing, has nearly everything in it you could imagine...its a great product if you are willing to drop the few extra dollars and indulge.
And I love how you describe it "Think about it. Animal Pak is a multivitamin. It's also an amino acid supplement. It's also an EFA supplement. It's a digestive aid supplement. It's a performance enhancing supplement. It's a ****load of things all wrapped up into one pack." what other companies will refer to their product as a ****load of things in one... thats real to me.. thats Animal

Ill try and keep it sweet and simple... wait a minute, this is Universal?... then I mean badass and hardcore. My favorite current Universal product is the EAA stack. I was expecting to have to be all animalistic and chug that down as quick as I could (we all know eaa's dont taste great), but that fruit punch flavor did it's job. And did it well. I have noticed pretty drastic improved recovery time when taking it after workout. All of this with a price tag that doesn't prey on your wallet and your good to go. Good job Universal.

Oh wait! Dammit! Is it too late to vote for the Animal Beanie. Somehow everytime I put that on I lose consciousness and wake up 3 pounds heavier. Coincidentally everyone at my gym has been maimed... Ok maybe not all that... but it does make you look like a beast!

Does it have real peices of strawberry like the old EAS MRP did? :) I liked that

I've always been a big fan of Animal Pak for my Multi. In the summers I love to use them while I have increased cardio. I find it to make a big difference in my aerobic ability.

I would defintily say shock therapy, I tried NO Xplode before and it gave me good pumps but also a headache every time I worked out with it. Shock Therapy is cheaper, and gave me just as good pumps, great energy, and no headache. I loved it because I am so tired after work and I barely have enough energy at the gym, but this kept me going during my first bulk cycle. I haven't bought any since because I'm experimenting with other supps. I will eventually get back to it though.

You don't have to send me any free product but I wanted to give my thoughts on Universal and some of their products.

I am very impressed with Universal as a company. For one they have been in business over 20 years. I have seen a lot of companies come and go over the years and Universal is still conducting good business. That says a lot.

They manufacture their own products right here in the USA (New Jersey). There are not many companies that make their own stuff, most companies outsource the product and put their own label on it and market it. Manufacturing your own product gives you more quality control.

I have met the owners and many of the people that work at Universal and they are all stand up people.

Lastly, I use some of their products and they are top quality. Here's what I use:

Animal Pak - a multi is the most basic supplement that you should take. You gotta have a strong foundation. The pak has a lot more in it than a standard multi. It's rock solid.

Animal Nitro/Nitro G - I just started using these in December, I have been cutting since then. In the past when I cut, I would always lose strength and some muscle. That has not been the case since I have been using these. My strength is up slightly actually. It's the only thing that I have added differently than in the past. I bracket my workout with a pak of Nitro before (I like that they are in paks that I can keep in my gym bag) and then I take Nitro G immediately post training mixed with Storm.

Shock Therapy - I am a big fan of NoXplode and let me tell you that Shock Therapy is just as good at a much better price. It's a great supplement.

Storm - Rock solid creatine product, been using it for a few months now.

My favorite Animal Product would be Animal Pak.

Animal Pak is the core and the base of all sound supplement stacks. Giving all true hardcore lifters the needed vitamins to get bigger and fulfill their dreams and their goals. When you look at a product like Animal Pak, you do not see the few extra dollars, you do not see 'many pills', you see the essential product to get to your goals. I have introduced to Animal Pak 2 years ago, when a friend of mine took me to buy supplements for the first time. Immediately Animal Pak caught my eye and it has never left. I have Pak's stuffed away in my gym bag for those days when I need to hurry to the gym, they are conveniently placed into small bags. For some reason when I was on Animal Pak, I just trained harder, in my mind all Animals Posters and figures were telling me to go more, more weight, more reps, and I believe Animal Pak helped me answer their calls. Well... theres my 2 cents..

My favorite Universal product would have to be Shock Therapy. I am very impressed with the results of ST compared to what Iíve had with other NO products.

I go to the gym after work and take the ST about 20 minutes before I get to the gym. Sometimes, after a long day at work I donít really feeling enthusiastic about going to the gym but after taking ST, I canít seem to get into the gym fast enough. I always get an impressive energy boost from it which is perfect after those long days at work and it gives me great pumps. It also helps me stay focused on my workout.

The taste (currently have the Wild Punch) is also decent. It doesnít taste bad at all, and I donít have any side effects from this product. Another thing I really like about this is that the effects (short term & long term) do not wear off like other NO products. During my workouts, I can feel the effects last throughout the entire workout. Iím also almost through an entire tub and still only use 1 scoop, and it has the same effect it has on me now as it did on day 1.

The last thing is the value. With 50 servings coming in 1 tub, and with only 1 scoop ever needed, it is a true 50 servings unlike other brands that require 2-3 scoops, plus it comes with a cheaper price tag. Canít ask for much more than that!

Overall Iím very impressed with this product and Iíve had some really good results from this product. Iím looking forward to trying the grape flavor next, as I have the grape Storm, and this also tastes great.

My favorite Universal product would have to be Storm. Ive used tons of creatine products in my training and this one still remains my favorite. I dont get the queasy feeling that usually comes with other creatines, and the strength gains were phenominal! Overall just a great product.

Storm is the bully of all creatines. Best I have ever used. No other product has worked for me like Storm has. I'm talking volumization, pumps, endurance, and recovery. A scoop pre and post workout and I am set. It's tough to describe with words, but all you lifters know what I am talking about. When you are in the zone, pumping rep after rep when you know you shouldn't be able to. Storm is what takes me to this level. Oh, and did I mention that it tastes great?

Well there are two products that come to mind when I think of Universal, Animal Pak, Shock Therapy, Storm and Nitro-G. Animal Pak has worked wonders for me. Much better and more comprehensive than just a regular multi. Digestive enzymes, small amount of dessicated liver, and some gensing for extra energy! I can feel a diffrence in my day and workout when I use a regular multi or use Animal Pak.
Shock Therapy gives me great muscle pumps and tons of energy! Pretty good taste and has more than just AAKG for NO volumization.

Storm: Great taste!!! I only used it for 2 weeks but I noticed a great increase in strength and stamina. Very soild product!

Nitro-G has a great great taste! Good source of carbs and BCAA's! I have only been using it for a few days now but I like it a great deal.

I like the Uniliver tabs. Best quick oldschool way to bump your protein and amino intake. Cheap too!!!

I also like the Specialized Protein because its got the Casein + Whey + Egg in it, which I don't know why more companies don't put out products like that.

Without a doubt it would have to be Animal Pak, the most comprehensive and complete bodybuilding vitamin out there! This is the first vitamin pack I can truly say actually made notable differences in my lifts and appearances. Price is great, and I definately know it's quality coming from a company that's been around for two decades. Plain and simple. Thanks Universal for making the best vitamin pack out there on the market!

I've tried tons of products over the years. It all started for me when I started the CellMass/NO-Xplode stack. It worked well for me, but it drained my wallet. I searched around at sports nutrition stores and read countless articles and reviews. After researching for awhile, I finally came to a conclusion: the Shock Therapy and Storm stack. Boy, was I in for a rude awakening. When I first bought the stack, I could not wait to feel the power that had been ranted about everywhere. As I anxiously scooped my powder into the mixer, I thought to myself... this is going to be great. And it was. Shock Therapy lived up to everything it stated to be. It gave me a wild pump in the gym, and awoke me from my then drousy state to an all out lifting machine. Although I felt like I could lift for hours on end, I knew that would not be the best thing to do. But that's what Shock Therapy does to you - it makes you have a connection with the weight that is almost unexplainable. Your mind is set on one thing: the weight. You almost forget how long you have been in the gym because you are enjoying every minute of the power, the pump, and the crazy energy that it gives you.

And Storm? Don't even get me started. I've taken tons of creatine products, but this is the mother of them all. Storm helped me obtain the mass that I desired fast, and it did not leave me once I finished the product. Storm gives you mass that STAYS on you, unlike other creatines. Storm took me to the next level as an athlete and a powerlifter. The combination of creatines in Storm is unique, and there is nothing comparable on the market. Why choose anything else? Storm has it all.

Overall, these products perform much better than many of the supplements out there, and most importantly (for me) they do not drain your wallet at the same time. Thanks Universal.

I'd definitely have to say Storm. A few months back I used the Shock Therapy/Storm stack and had great results. I ran out of ST and then began cutting so I saved the remainder of my storm for later use. Now that I have begun bulking I have started taking storm again and I am amazed at the results. I assumed that the product would not be AS effective without stacking it with ST, however, this has not been the case at all. My energy and pumps have been great, and I am definitely anticipating an increase in my strength/size. My vote goes to storm!!

I would like to take the time to that G Diesel for being on our board and selecting us to have this oppurtunity to participate in this. I am a 8 year old teen, 5`1 (yes short) 182lbs at 58% water weight, 14% bodyfat, training for my NPC Competition next summer. My goal in life is to compete at the national level, and more on to become an IFBB pro.

In the past, I have tried many NO2 products. I tried MRI's NO2, Nitrix, Cold Fusion Explosion, and NP2. I got sick of this AAKG talk, and decided to go straight for Arginine. Through reading, i learned that adding Orthinine (sp) makes arginine a lot more bennificial. When searching for products, i saw yours and said, why not try yours. I met some of your guys already at a NPC Bodybuilding comp already, you guys let me take pics with your people, get autographs, samples and everything. I thought what the hell, you guys must be a good company if you that good to people who come to the expos. I decided on purchasing GH Max, and havnt stopped since. It is a pill, so you can easily take it in school. You can pop them eveywhere. They dont smell at all, and have a very little taste when sitting on your toungue. They never upsetted my stomach at all, like legal gears cold fusion did. I had to actually get my money back for that. I would take it at night like it says, and it gives u a satisfying feeling throughout the night, so when you wake up, your all ready to go. The whole time while im on it, i feel good about myself, feel pumped up all day with energy and just an overall goodness of health. Overall, i would rate this a 5/5, its the first No2 product that worked, but all day long, not just in the weight room. I usually go, 50 days on, 1 month off. Thanks for the great product! and once again, thanks for this oppurtunity!

REAL GAINS - CHOCOLATE

Real Gains is definitely my all time favorite post-workout shake! When you're a busy guy like me you don't have much time in the mornings to sit and blend up a PWO shake with oatmeal and fruit and everything else. I can throw three scoops of Real Gains into my jug with some water knowing I've got 500+ calories waiting for me at the end of my gym routine later that day. But what about the taste? It rocks! Before I head to the gym I stop off at the freezer for 3-4 ice cubes and thats all I need!

As a bonus you get a great forearm workout each and every time you open the Real Gains jug because man - that thing is tight!

Shock Therapy. Great story: I work out at the gym at my college, and all these guys are GNC freaks, occassionally when someone includes me in a conversation, I'll recommend something I've tried, or something getting good reviews here. Usually falls on deaf ears, but one time this guy was talking about how great NO2 was, and I had been reading about shock therapy earlier in the day. I told him most people think it is significantly better, I'd only tried the sample pack, but that I liked it and it was so much cheaper he'd be stupid not to try it. Guy took it for like a week, like the next Tuesday or something, he comes in and tells me it is crap, he gave it to his brother. His reason, muscles felt all weird and full of blood. I told him that is called a pump. He said he didn't want to be all freaky like that. For that reason alone, Shock Therapy is my favorite supp. you guys make. It gave that punk too MUCH pump. Ha. And I swear that is completely true. I don't know if that qualifies me to try it or receive it, but thought I'd share it.

Uni-Liver
Hands down one of the best nutritional values available. Uni-liver is a great source of natural bioavailable vitamins and minerals. Its unique amino acid profile is the perfect addition to any bodybuilder's dietary needs, all at price per gram of protein rivaling most bulk whey powders. This product is a no-brainer.

Storm
Storm provides four unique forms of creatine in addition to other performance inhancers such as taurine, citrulline malate, and arginine alpha-keto-gluterate. All of these ingredients are found in other products ... at nearly twice the price. Universal set the bar for other company's with this product by delivering these quality ingredients at an affordable price.

Shock Therapy
Another great value from Universal Nutrition. This pre-workout product combines creatine, NO-enhancers, nootropics, stimulants, and other goodies again at a price less than half of the industries top selling pre-workout products. If cell-volumization and mind-blowing pumps sound ideal, then this is definately a worthwhile purchase for you.

I do not hesitate shamelessly pimp these products every chance I get on this board. They are a stable of my supplement regimine, just check my log :D Whether or not you send me products, there will be another canister of each long before the current canisters are finished.

The first Animal product I ever tried also happens to be my favorite. I orderd a can of animal nitro when it first came out and absolutely loved it. The strength gains, lean mass gains and increased recovery were very apparent. I'd take it as i was leaving the gym, When i got home i'd have my pwo shake as usual. The convenience of already made up packs of pills is awsome. If i had the money,i'd def. make this supp a staple in my training.

at least two years ago i went to see the big ronnie coleman do a tour in my country, obviously incredibly excited i lined up with my friend in the presence of many hardcore bodybuilders. In short the big man was incredible, yet time was short, leaving for holiday the next day i told my friend to get some animal cuts since it was the cheapest and was interesting...

ok holiday came back had my 21 day cycle, without cardio and some tuned dieting i lost at least 4 pounds of fat and excess water retention, i remember i really looked good and felt great... thx Animal...

Real Gains Strawberry

A couple months ago I looked very extensively through almost every single weight gainer that was sold on BB.com. In my mond and my criteria, Real Gains had one of the most impressive profiles and was also one of the chespest/most servings. At that time the only flavor were vanilla and chocolate and Im not the biggest fan of either. No the strawberry is out and Im a huge fan of strawberry flavors. the grape flavor is absolutely great. even better than xtend. it has bcaas in it, some extra eaas, 35g of dextrose, and also over 500mg of vit b. although it doesnt have citrulline malate or glutamine im not worried about that since in the other bcaa drinks, they are both underdosed. the price is an issue w me cuz its 20 bux for 8 serving. but imo this is the best bcaa supp out!!!!

I can honestly (and proudly) say that real gains...may not be the most cost effective protein shake, BUT without a doubt is the best shake for HARD MASS GAINS! Its loaded with carbs (i think 83g/serving) for your hard fought workouts and i think 52g of protein...man...2 servings a day of this stuff will literally MAKE you big...theres no way around it, thats basically why Real Gains is the only protein shake that I buy, and I need to order more...but i dont have any money, quite a coincidence that this thread is here haha...thanks Gdiesel

One of my favorites too... Used it when it came out, what, two years ago. It's a supplement I can honestly say I use every single day...

I'm gonna have to go with the BCAA Stac and Uni liver both are priced very well and they both provide you with everything you need. I'm really big on both of these products as I think they are very essental in anybody's diet. No garbage they just give you what you need plain and simple and I can respect that from Universal/Animal.

I agree with that fewcha... An additional 100+ g of protein and 1200+ kcals (even more if mixed with milk) from 2 servings of Real Gains added to a daily mass diet full of nutritious whole foods will definitely help pack on size with the quickness. Peace, G

Eleven pills every morning is the ignition to my crazed fortitude. The pills in my right hand, a gallon of orange juice in my left. I hurl the pills so they hit the back of my throat, cock my head back, and pound down a quater of that damn jug, just to make sure I know it all gets to my system. Every morning begins the same; to many it may seem simplistic and perhaps irrational. But to my body, it is necessary and is the only support beam firm enough to support my determination, my perspiration, my insanity. Every morning, at that percise moment, the motivation of an entire lifetime is captivated. A fierce determination blooms from my body and I am armed and ready to take on the world which lies at my feet. Swallowing those pills allow me to make myself heard, my body bold, my mind powerful; they transform me... every morning. They give me the confidence to go balls to the ****ing wall when I'm in the gym, I don't have to worry if I am putting too much stress on my body. I know I have already taken care of that, and my body is ready for anything. Those eleven pills every morning are my determination, my perspiration, my motivation, my power, my foundation. They allow me to hurl weights around like its my damn job, like I was born for this. They assist my body, they assist my mind, they assist my dream... Animal Pak

I've tried the following Universal Products: M-stak, Animal Pak, Animal Nitro, and Shock Therapy. My favorite Product by far is the Shock Therapy. I tried Shock Therapy before trying BSN NO-Xplode and i regret paying for the NO-Xplode. I should have stuck with the Shock Therapy instead of trying the NO-Xplode. Being a college student i am always tired because of staying up late either studying or partying. So the next day when i go to the gym at 6PM i am exhausted. Shock Therapy def got me goin on days that i would have rather stayed in my dorm and slept. Thanks Diesel

Damn that's some fine writing and some fine inspiration. Now, write me up a custom mantra for when I'm doin' the daily grind and wishin' I was in my basement pumping iron, following the simple, direct path from mediocrity to personal greatness (a greatness pursued only for me, but available to anyone for inspiration or a swift kick in the ass) -- a path that follows a biomechanically correct arc through a path of muscle-building resistance.

Why Shock Therapy is my favorite pre-workout formula

1. Its tastes better than any of the others

2. It has a very strong nutrition profile, I can't find anything else that I would add to an all in one preworkout supplement.

3. Only has useful ingridients, no useless additions

4. Tri Creatine malate is my favortie creatine along with CEE

5. I like how you don't have goofy names for your "propriety blends", like super duper cell volumizer matrix or beyond this world pumps matrix
(... ya those aren't real names obviously, but u get what Im saying.. hah)

EDIT: I have also tried numerous other all in one preworkout formulas and this clearly wins

With the size and the number of pills in each pak, taking it alone it's like going through a tough workout. I take the biggest ones first and the 3 smallest ones altogether last, kinda like train your large muscle group first and then the smaller ones. And every pill in the pak benefits the body in different ways, any pill alone is not gonna get the job done, just like different execrises in a routine, they all hit the muscle in different ways, but any one execrise alone is not gonna build a championship physique. Taking Animal Pak gives me the energy I need in the gym, both physically and mentally, 'cause if I went through all that trouble to choke down all those pills, I'd better bust my ass in the gym to make it worth while. Animal Pak is my favorite because I believe real animals take Animal Pak, everybody else takes one-a-day multi.

SHOCK THERAPY for sure. Its the best NO product out there by far I wont use anything else anymore Ive tried just about all of them. NO xplode gave be a rush about the first 2 times I used it. SP 250 just gave me gas and the ****s, not the gains I was looking for. Shock therapy gives me a rush everytime I use it. It tastes great, I like the Wildpunch kicker. Real Gains is by far the best product made by Universal Nutrition. I have used this product with many of my bulking cycles for the past 2 years and have always gained from it. I experienced less "fat" gain than when using Prolab's N-Large II, because of the better carb content (less sugar). I would also like to say I really enjoy the Animal Pak, but seeing as how many people wrote about that...........lol.

As hard as it is to pick just one product that I like the most, I would have to say that Animal Nitro is my all-time favorite. Amino Acids are extremely underated IMO, and I believe they should be a staple in any serious lifters arsenal. I chose animal nitro (and nitro g) over other Amino acid products for two reasons. One is the convienice, I mean, come on, how easy is it to tear open a pack of nitro or mix up some (great tasting) nitro g. It doesnt get much easier than having the correct amounts of these products already measured out and packaged for you. The second reason I love Nitro is because its from Universal. They make solid products, and they back them 100%. There is only one product that I use thats not from Universal and thats my ON 100% whey, and everything else is Universal. From the pak to the nitro to the cuts, I have it all, and I have it simply because they work.

P.S. - How bout them SJU Hawks G??

Storm! Why? Well because if you want to enhance your performance in the gym and add serious size onto your frame, then look no further than Storm. We are talking about serious size, not extra fat from the sugar-loaded creatine products of the past. We use only the finest and most advanced blend of creatine including magnesium creatine chelate, which is a patented form of the molecule that has been shown to boost strength after only 2 weeks of use. This coupled with the potent blend of nitric oxide boosters and insulin potentiators that make up Storm's delivery system makes it the most potent volumizing formula available.

They got invited to the "little dance", a lot of history in the NIT, so I can't knock it... But they almost made it happen, reeled off 9 straight before losing to Xavier in the A-10 final. Handled RU with ease yesterday. Just a day late and a dollar short, could've been a sleeper squad in the NCAA field of 64. They should be strong next year.

Hey Robboe, I was lucky enough to win a batch. I said on either the first or second page of this thread it was my favorite. The flavor is actually great. I have trie 4 different fruit punch flavored products all of which gave me differing degrees of a headache. My Favorite Universal Product: Definately STORM!!

WHY: Storm is my favorite Universal product because it contains an NO boosting complex and it uses a blend of four forms creatines!! Storm also contains no sugar i love that 0 calories in every serving what more could you ask for this is both a good creatine for bulking and cuttin and as of right now i'm cutting so ill deff. be picking some up if i don't win lol anyways back to Storm its just all and all been the most effective creatine ive tried in a while and im not just sayin that i noticed a signifficant strength increase after the first week or so on it it could be because of the magnesium creatine chelate i love that they put that form in there..I also noticed my energy levels were up and i felt my workouts were more intense and i felt good pumps from this product probably because of the unique delivery system iNOXsulin-7 which contains ingredients such as L-Taurine, Betaine Anhydrous, Citrulline Malate, Arginine AKG ,Glycocyamine, L-ALA and 4-Hydroxyisoleucine.. ahh I just love this product whoever came up with this formula is a genious!! all in all this is the best Universal product and probably one of the best cell volumizers out there on the market today!!

Thanks Universal and keep up the good work!!

Actually, here's a legitimate submission: Universal's Ultra Whey Pro Strawberry is BY FAR the best tasting strawberry whey on the market. It's not even close. I picked up a bottle about 6 months ago but due to my large stock of various brands and flavors I've not repurchased whey in quite some time. While other starwberry whey proteins have an annoying processed aftertaste, Ultra Whey Pro has a smooth texture and tastes like real strawberries sprinkled with sugar. There are PLENTY of great chocolate proteins on the market and a nearly equal number of excellent vanillas as well, but when it comes to Strawberry this is a no contest.

Additionally, although not a product, the Animal Cage soundtrack utilized at the trade expos is another GREAT Animal product. A couple of the rap songs could be left off, but after a long day on my feet at the booth, Soundgarden's Outshined followed by Rage Against the Machine and Metallica was a breath of fresh air. Sure beats Muscletech streaming the same message for 3 straight days. :)

Another vote for Uni-Liver. Over the years, it's one of the very few supplements I've never swapped against another. Actually, lemme check . . . Hm, I was wrong, it's the only supplement I've taken consistently since I started using any. I've even left ON Whey for a TP blend recently. Only Uni-Liver has never left my shelf, then.

So why? Well, not only are they the cheapest liver tabs out there, but they're also one of the cheapest sources of protein period, without fat or carbs either. They're also a convenient source of natural iron (synthetic iron is harder to assimilate and even makes some people sick, like my sis).

Convenient. That's the word, the true selling point for me: For the past half-dozen years, I've always had a little bowl full of those tabs on my desk; I just swallow one from time to time, usually with tea. Unlike a protein powder, I can carry/gulp liver tabs virtually anywhere, and when I go out of town, I always bring some with me, together with a multi and a few fish oil gels.

I have used Uni-Liver since the early 80's. 18 tabs a day..Most days.

Hands down one of the most under rated product out there.
Uni-liver has been around for that long? 20 plus years?

Whats its real purpose? Is it just aminos and BCAA's at a really cheap price. Its only like 12$ for 500, thats insane.

When i do my first PH cycle, im probobly going to stock up on those, i was thinking about it while doing an xfactor/activate cycle, but i didnt want to throw in another variable when testing these two products.

How are they different from aminos or anything else??

I`m from Romania, where not all the Universal products can be find... From the gamut that is available here i have used: Animal Pak (every month), Spa Pak, Ultra Whey Pro, Amino 2700 (every single day), Gain Fast, Mega Mass 3000, Hard Fast, Milk&Egg (every month), Storm (every month). All of them - especialy Animal Pak, Storm and Hard Fast - are very efficient and the prices are incredible!

In the following months i will try to experiment other products, such as Natural Sterol Complex, Uniliver, Amino 4300, Animal Nitro, Animal Stak 2 and Energy Pak.

When I choose Universal i know that i choose high quality products, at a very affordable price.

I really enjoyed Universal REAL Gains. My diet was strict but with work on somedays it was a little hard to get in that little extra i needed. when i got started on real gains it gave me enough to put my calorie intake and protein over the top to start gaining weight. on it i gained pleasing strength increases and i liked the size i got with it, too. i gained some valuable pounds with it. i purchased it because i saw that it had pretty much the perfect calorie-protein-carb-fat ratios and would be perfect for how i wanted to use it. the next thing that helped me decide to get it was the price and number of servings. compared to other weight gainers, this was very inexpensive for the number of servings you get, which is rare because it is better than alot of weight gainers out there. Another thing was its taste. i got the chocolate. most protein powders or weight gainers dont compare to the taste of this stuff. it also goes down really easily as well, being that its not too too sweet. its not the BEST mixing powder, but i deffinately didnt have a problem with it.
i was very pleased with this supplement and i am looking forward to my next bucket. it looks like you guys got it exactly right with REAL gains.

Animal Pak.

There's nothing like ripping open an animal pak, staring down at those brown, tan and white speckled horse pills, smelling in that beautiful, wretched scent of shark cartilage, ox bile, argentine liver and colostrum. To be perfectly honest, I don't know what that freakin' smell is, but I like to think it's from those beastly animal ingredients. I mean, what other company puts pieces of sharks and ox in thier multivitamin formula? Nobody. Time to gulp these bad boys down. Two at a time. No, three at a time. **** it. Down the whole pak in a single gulp. Feels like rocks down my throat, tearing and scratching all the way down. I love it. Where most companies...wait, who am I kidding? Where all companies end the list of ingredients, Universal isn't even half way through. With a full list of amino acids and EFAs that put all other multi's to shame, Animal Pak is truly a product worlds apart from anything else on the market today. If you put anything else into these vita-stones they'd explode. After taking these beastly pills down before my morning meal, I can already feel an increase in stamina and energy...and I haven't even begun my workout. An image of sharks cascading through my veins and an Ox charging down my microscopic capillaries feeding my muscles with raw power...the power of an animal, a beast. I just know my workout today won't be just another ordinary workout. I'm going to tear that gym to shreds. Taking my Animal pak every morning is a love hate relationship. I love to hate taking those pills down and I know not everyone has the determination and motivation to do it. That's what sets me apart from the rest; the animal from the pack.

----------------------------------------------------

Hope I win...that was fun writing that and I could use another bottle of Animal pak.

Peace, G

Im old school when it comes to universal

The best universal prods I have used are 2

1. Universal hard fast, contrary to belief of it having too much sugar and useless ingredients the truth be told I made my best gains and cutting on this product back in the day, I simply used it with 2 scoops instead of 6 a few times during the day, amaizing one of the few prods I felt I was actually using something special, especially back then, I still believe this product is king and now Id reccomend it to be added at 2 scoops to 1 scoop of whey :)

2. Animal pack is by all means the legend of multies, I use this prod as we speak whenever I am training real hard, need a pick me up, but mostly when I get sick YES you read correctly, this is an amaizing prod to use while being sick with the flue or something, after at recovery and alot more! I believe this SO MUCH I save my paks for this very reason using an inferior daily vit everyday so not to waste this product (as im in greece and hard to obtain it).

While The Pak is the true foundation of my supplement arsenal, nothing I have used comes close to ST when it's time to "get the job done". In the past, I thought all NO products were bull****, never giving me anything more than a caffeine high and a nervous twitch. Then I tried ST........

It's 4am.....I awaken, still dead to the world, my head still swirling with the events of the day past. Do I really have what it takes to move some heavy iron today? Mmm, roll out of bed, perform the usual morning ritual of bodily functions. God, how good it would feel to crawl back under those covers and get a few more hours shuteye like the rest of the world is doing. No....no time for that, there are things to be done, weights to be moved.

As I ready myself to travel to the temple of iron, there is one thing I know will assist in my cause. I throw a scoop of Shock in my shaker, mix it up, and begin sucking it down. It's a bit harsh...... but good. As I arrive at the temple, I feel it.....my senses awaken, the blood pulses through my veins.....the power begins to return.

I am ready........

A bit over the top? Eh, maybe, but I REALLY do love this stuff! Oh, and combined with Storm, I've found it to be my absolute favorite NO\Creatine combo! Now, if BB.com would just get the grape flavor of ST in stock, I'd be set!

Shock Therapy.

Having been an avid NO xplode fan these past couple of months imagine my surprise the first time I took some of this.
My buddy had the Fruit Punch flavor and being a skeptic of anything fruit punch I was expecting a mouthful of Rat urine....didn't happen.
I was amazed at how good the taste was. Not only was it not bitter but it didn't taste like fruit punch flavored crap.
The energy and pumps were awesome. I would equate them to my first few times on NO xplode but with a bit of an added edge.
Not only was my focus better but I cut my time in between sets by about 20 seconds and increased my lifts by 5-10 pounds per exercise.
I plan to rotate Shock Therapy into my routine once this tub of NO xplode is gone. If these results are consistent I plan to make a switch.

I have also tried the Animal Pak and like it but tend to build my own Animal Pak to tailor it more to my needs/wants. I do recommend it to some of the noobs I help train.

G Diesel or anybody,

What is the real advantage of taking UNI Liver. Im taking x-factor right now, and that requires a lot of protein and aminos to build muscle. Is uni liver something by looking at it, just a whole bunch of aminos? Why is it so cheap when all the other amino products are really expensive.

Whats the difference? I think im going to get a 500 cap tub, since its only like 12 bucks.

Shock Therapy is the shiznit...all I have to say is that shiznit is the shiznit! My strength went up on the first try. I noticed the increase in strength when I did seated machine rows. I pyramid my sets from 12 down to 6 for 4 sets. Last week and the weeks before I was only able to crank out 6 reps on my fourth set but yesterday I was able to do 12...kinda nuts if you ask me. My focus was really on point as well. Rest in between sets was shorter and the energy was off the charts. I was speed walking all over the gym. I felt kinda mean also, I wasn't acting mean towards anyone but I knew inside that I was mean that day. Shiznit I tell you!

I can attest that this can be addicting. I carry them in little sandwich bags to work. There are not that many things that you can buy and still meet your daily protein goals.

This stuff tastes awesome! (grape flavor) I have tried every kind of creatine out there, and nothing was as consistent as this stuff. I gained atleast 10 lbs the first container I went through, and I'm now on my 3rd. I can't imagine using any other creatine. I usually add AAKG bulk powder with it, and it literally gets me hyped-up for the gym like you wouldn't believe.

Real Gains:

I recently ordered the chocolate flavor of Real Gains (6.85 pounds), just before finding out the strawberry was coming out :D. Price comparison, it is one of the cheaper gainers around, and has an impressive profile for a gainer. Universal Nutrition made a well-balanced product, that is worth consideration for people who are trying to pack on a few pounds.

The blend of proteins in a gainer is a big plus in my book, and the presence of fiber in Real Gains isn't something I commonly see in weight gainers. A typical weight gaining shake is just straight whey concentrate and maltodextrin (or similar carbohydrate source). By using both whey and casein proteins, the absorbtion of Real Gains is slowed down to an extent. Additionally, the fats profile of this product is nice - flaxseed and Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT's).

I have used both Cytosport's Cytogainer and Universal Nutrition's Real Gains, and will be using Real Gains in the future. Cytogainer has the distinct advantage in the flavors (more choices), however the price and nutritional profile of Real Gains does win the gold. I am through about 3/4 of the tub now, and in that time span have gained 3-4 pounds (without the belly!). Used in conjunction with a well-planned diet and exercise program, I think Real Gains is a excellent way to 'tip the scales'.

I'm going to give an honest straightforward answer. My favorite Universal Nutrition Product is Storm. Why? Because it works, and because it tastes good. I've taken creatine products that don't work (Wieder's Creatine Monohydrate Pills) and creatine products that taste like crap (Bulk Powdered Creatine Ethyl Ester), as well as creatine products that taste like crap and don't work (GNC's Creadrive). Storm is the only product that has worked for me.

I'm brand new to the craft of bodybuilding. I approached my brother, a long time bodybuilder, and asked him to give me the best possible product to help me get started on this road. For my birthday- he presented me with Animal Pak. Now, I've always been skeptical of all the stuff he's taken in his life- but when I started taking Animal Pak and hitting the gym afterwards, I felt a HUGE difference. There is no doubt that this stuff is for real and a must for anyone who is either a veteran of the sport or just starting out like me. The rush I get from putting up more and more weight as I go through the painful weeks makes me realize that I like this path- and Animal Pak will be with me along the whole way. Best birthday present ever.

Animal Pak - Most of the vitamins are mad for couch potatoes. They use cheap forms of minerals such as Magnesium Oxide, while Animal Pak provides us with high doses of minerals and vitamins in high doses. It is fairly priced, at about 15 bucks a month, and will do more then your regular bs vitamin. And I can swallow a pac in one gulp!

I bought Animal Cuts the other day from a local supp store. This is the first Universal product i've tried and am just amazed by the results i am getting. I've been on the pak for just over a week and seen ridiculous results so far; energy and focus have gone through the roof, I can actually feel all the subcutaneous water drain from my body as my muscles feel like plated steel 24/7. I mean I went out to see freinds who had just gotten home from university and there is nothing like watching their jaws drop as they gaze upon your mind boggling muscle striations. Have you ever felt like a human anatomy poster before? Well i do, I feel like i can pinpoint every muscle in the body becuase of the amazing cut this product is giving me. Like i said this is the first Universal product i've ever tried and i can say that i am definetly hooked. I'm definetly gonna stack this with the Animal Pak on my next cycle becuase of the great things i have heard about the animal pak. You guys at Universal have definetly created a whole new breed of animal!

I read somewhere that the EAA stack and Animal Nitro are the same formula(one pack of nitro vs. one serving of EAA stack). Is the only difference that one comes in pills and one comes in a powder?

Edit: I found where I read it.

the EAA stack is the same profile as the nitro, I emailed them and asked. The nitro is more money because they are prepacked in paks (which I actually like cause I throw them in my gym bag).

Universal Animal Pak

Why do I like Animal Paks?? First I like the fact that its so organized. If I'm in a rush all I have to do is open the can and take out a pak. I don't have to have a pill organizer or open 11 different bottles to fulfill my daily vitamin needs. But when I take my pak in the morning, I'm not just getting my regular daily value of vitamins. I get so much more. I get scientific backing that what I'm taking is working. The pack is not just a guess. Anyone can throw together a pill with a couple of vitamins in it. But how many of them are tried, tested and true? Animal Pak is. For years bodybuilders everywhere have been using the pak. Thats why Animal Pak is my favorite Universal product. Because it just plain works. No bull****. Just results.

That is my understanding. Nitro comes in capsules and is prepacked so that would explain the additional cost.

By far my favorite Universal product is Storm. This is simply because this is the only creatine that ever worked for me and it is a kickass formula with 4 different types of creatine and help me pack on 9 pounds in a month and a half when i stacked it with storm. I feel that this is one of the most effective products on the market (and one of the best tasting) and really helps me keep up with my hardcore training. Thanks Again for a great product and keep up te great work!

Honestly, the one I like most is Real Gains. You scored me a free bucket a while back and I've since used more. Had taken Cytogainer prior and thought the C&C tasted like crap. Got a bucket of the chocolate from you and was impressed, especially with the shipping time. Nutrition is solid, mixes wonderfully, and tastes GOOD. Best thing about it was I don't feel bloated after a shake. Thing that stuck me most was it's density, as a powder and after it's mixed. The powder is almost fluffy and the shake doesn't end up super thick, goes down easy as can be. Again, tastes awesome on the way down too.

Almost done with another bucket. Animal Pump sounds like the next stuff from you guys I will be trying out. Possibly Storm/Shock Therapy as well.

I know I'm not winning as that's not going to be the most exciting or raving post, but the bottom line was Universal shipped this thing FAST, it was one HELL of a big sample, and it's a great product.

P.S. I won;t argue if Animal Pump shows up though, LOL.

Animal Stak2 is freaking awesome!!! I've never been so psychotically driven in the gym as when I am ona cycle of Stak2!! The pump comes easier and my intensity is thru the roof!! People in the gym look at me with wonder and fear, the focus and drive I have in the gym is alien to them. I stopped spinning my wheels a while ago, I'll just feed off the energy of those who haven't yet. I have gpne from a lean 155lbs back in March of this year, to the stout 190 lbs I am today. For you doubters, here's pics to prove it!! The first one was taken in March before the Arnold Expo, and the second two are from about 2 weeks ago! Animal Stak 2 is no bull****! The week off after a three week cycle is spent waiting to start my next one!!! Train hard and God bless!

I work in a restaurant, so it's very hard for me to get my 6-7 meals a day, but your Hi-Protein Bar is a lifesaver. Everyone else's bars are either loaded with sugar or fat (or both!), but the macro profile in Hi-Protein bars is incredible, as is the taste (Gotta go with the Chocolate peanut butter - awesome flavor combo). Great, great product for someone who has to eat something portable in between waiting tables.

My fav. Universal product would be Animal Pump. I won it from G a while back. I have never really been sold on pre workout supps... never thought they lived up the hype(see my sig.). But, when I started using the Pump I hit some of my heaviest lifts, ever. My deadlift went from 315x3, when I had just started deadlifting, to 405x1. I got to 225x2 on incline bench when I was stuggling with 185x6 on flat. And I got up to 315x3 on squat to parallel, up from 275x3. I was able to pack on about 10 pound of muscle, seeing as how my bodyfat when no where. Sure, I can't attribute all, or even most of that to Pump, cuz I know my massive eating habits, hibernation-like sleeping, and busting my ass, paying my dues in the gym 6 days a week had a lot to do with it. But, Animal Pump, I believe, gave me a slight edge and helped as much as any supplement could help me in accomplishing these milestone lifts and great gains.

I've been off the pump for a little under a week, but I could, easily, see myself returning to it very soon. Peace :D
-Meph
*Edit: Another thing I thought I'd mention was how impressed I was that you guys put in a great antioxidant blend in the Pump because the production of NO can produce free radicals. That truly put it over the top and made it an all-in-one pre-workout supp, plus I like companies lookin out for their customers, so I dont have to think so much :p

I love everything that Universal makes!! There is not a better supplement company out there than Universal. The reason why I always rave about Universal to all of my friends, and whenever someone inquires about Universal is the quality of the product. For some reason, if I take other company's supplements, I dont have the same comfort level as I would if I were taking something from Universal. With Universal, I feel confident that I am truly taking the supplement as advertised on the label, and I fully trust what I am putting into my body because I know Universal works hard to ensure quality and safety in their product. I am always pleased with my personal growth and I always feel I can accomplish my fitness goals when I supplement with Universal. I would say on average when I am bulking, I take 4-5 Universal Supplements. I would never train without Universal, I could not do that. In the growing industry as sports supplements, many companies will try and cheat their customers. Universal does not, and they offer large servings in each and every product and all products are extremely affordable for the quality of the product, I cant ask for more as a college student. It is hard to choose a personal favorite from Universal. The product I have taken the longest from Universal is Animal Pak. All other mutli vitamin/mineral supplements dont even compare. Some say Animal Pak is expensive, but just look at all the quality nutrients you are getting, it is truly a great deal. I have used various protein products from Unviersal, very delicious I may add. As a recovery drink, I love to throw some BCAA Stack AAC in with my protein, dextrose and maltadextrin (Universal Carbo Plus), and creatine. I dont know if I could lift without having the BCAA stack by my side. My two favorite Universal products would have to be either Animal Pak or BCAA Stack AAC, it is so hard to choose a favorite!!!

Keep up the Great work Universal!!

I think this is my first post, but I've been lurking here for a while. I probably do about 1-2 weeks of research on a certain suppliment before I order. I usually flip though the pages of Flex/Muscular Development in disgust looking at the 4 and 6 page reports on how Anator P-70 will put 40 lbs of lean mass on you in "X" ammount of time. I remember when I was a teenager reading these ads and thinking to myself, "wow, if it's in a magazine, it must work" I took Muscle Tech products, and while they worked, they broke my wallet. This isnt a bash against Muscle Tech, but I am using these people as an example. You see the flashy ads with bodybuilding pros that 99% of us will never look like, putting up pictures of "scientists" and chemical charts and formulas that I dont want to try to understand. This is where Universal, specifically, Animal came in.

It was my Junior year in highschool and our football team got to go to the University's gym and workout with the football players, strength coaches, etc etc. I noticed alot of them used something called Animal Pak. So, trying to be like them, I started taking it. I became a fan of Animal instantly, thus adding more "paks" to my supplimentation. Some I liked, some I didnt like. What really got me was how the "Animal" line was presented. It has the hardcore, no bull****, gritty, go big or go home attitude that got me; especially on the animalpak website. While there have been better products came out, I somehow feel loyal to you guys because, unlike most suppliment companies, you still advertise hard work, blood, sweat, and good ol' food over some fancy new powder. Yes, you still plug your products, but then again people like G-Diesel, Bulldog, and Machine probably DO use Animal/Universal products. You will never see a Universal Ad with complex scientific formulas, ****ty comparison pictures, or Ronnie. You'll probably see a guy in a ****ty run down gym comtemplating puking, or finishing his next set of squats..then puking. I believe the Animal line and mentality represents everything someone needs to be successful in the gym, and in life.

I live my life by Animal's phrase "Go big or go home" wether I am in the gym, or serving my country in Iraq, or looking at that fine piece off ass down the bar. I know there are many aspiring Arnolds and Dorians that still feel Universal reprents every guy who's puked after a leg workout, a guy who drives a piece of **** car to the gym at 3am before work because he spends too much on food and gym fees, a guy who would rather be in the gym than on a golf course, or some snobby country club. I will stay loyal to Universal because I feel Universal stays loyal to me.

BTW, Animal Pump in short is...the balls. Keep up the good work ya'll

Semper Fi,

Matt

P.S...I dont think you guys will ship anything to an FPO..you always ask for the "US" address. It's alright though. BB.com does a great job of shipping overseas and CS. I'll gladly pay you guys to keep me going strong.

EAA Stack for the win!

We can all be honest with ourselves for just a moment. It's almost entirely impossible to truely determine the results of supplements we take. There's just too many factors involved. However, what we can do is determine what we know works through proven individual cases, science, and personal experience. Like most bodybuilders I believe that nutrition is the key to building the perfect physique, and beyond that blanket statement, protein is of the utmost importance! Although I don't "feel" or "look" any different while taking Universal's EAA stack, I know that I am giving my body exactly what it needs exactly when it needs it. There's a reason why protein supplements are so popular, they work. Where conventional protein supplements fall short is that they are not formulated to provide the same level of optimal amino acid profiles as Universal's EAA stack.

The E, is for Essential

(please pm me if chosen, thanks much kind sir)

You understand what we're trying to do perfectly. Change the way people think. Get them to understand the basics first. Training balls out. Eating right. Getting plenty of rest. This is the core message. Our mission at Animalpak.com is to get knowledge out there. Yeah, supps can help, but never as a replacement or substitute for any of the above. I'm usually on pak.com every night before reading articles and logs. That **** motivates me. I dont need the newest suppliments and crazy workout regimens. What I need is a big ass steak and 10 minutes of watching "Pumping Iron" or Ronnie's "Unbelieveable" to get me in that mood. Animal Pump is like adding nitrous to a Cobra, you dont need it, but once you get it..you really dont want to do without it.

Oh ****, t-minues 30 minutes until I blow my chest out like a cheap whore.

"Everybody wants to be swoll, but nobody wants to lift no heavy ass weights"

Some classic vids right there... We've got a full collection here at Universal, and we've been known to watch 'em at lunch.

Tell ya what, we'll send you "Animal Arms", on the house. PM me your name and address bro. We'll send ya some extra motivation in the form of a DVD.

LAVA is my favorite hand's down. Best Post-WO drink available. I like the combo of protein, creatine & carb's. Love the flavor of Orange Slush too! Just wish it came in a bigger serving than 10 serving's.

I personally keep my supplement regimen pretty simple...that is multivitamin, protein, fish oil, and BCAA's. That being said, Animal Pak is the only multi I've taken for the last 6 months. I seriously think it makes a difference in my workout, and I know I'm never deficient in any of the stuff my body needs. I plan to continue using Animal Pak for as long as I lift seriously. I just ordered some more, but can always stock up on a little extra supply ;).

The contest may be over but I'm putting in my 2 cents in anyway. Stak-2 puts me in the right frame of mind to hit the iron as hard as I can. I don't go to the gym to talk, I don't go to the gym to chase some ass, my goal is to put as many OH ****! moments into my hour and a half as possible. If you you don't know what an OH ****! moment is it's when your muscles are screaming and your brain is telling you to do nine reps instead of ten but you've gone and gotten it in your head that the weights won't beat you, not today. It's when you leave 110% in the gym, when you squat until you are physically sick but you put more weight on because you know hard work pays off and that the tuna and rice will taste even sweeter today cause you left it all out in the gym. Thats the way I lift and Stack 2 helps make it possible.
