For all of the nutrition gurus out there, has anyone heard any testimonials or "hype" about the physical benefits of blue green algae supplementation. after wasting thousands of dollars in the supplement industry, i stick to the natural stuff now...zma, fish oil, glutamine, and a multi-vitamin. i always research upcoming natural, organic supplementation and i cant decide which side of the fence to land on for blue-green algae...are the claimed health benefits factual or not? even so, is it even safe to consume? if anyone can put any kind of opinion or factual critique on this matter i'd greatly appreciate it.

i would not be surprised if it is beneficial. however, i would not use it instead of real food, but only in addition. nothing should replace real food.
