I am trying to finish my cut diet and was wondering what are some good meals to eat before a lifting workout?

Oats and whey is a very solid preWO meal, assuming you have it 1hour-30mins before. If you want more, use milk instead of water and include a piece of fruit or two (banana, apple, etc). A bigger meal, with a slower digesting protein (such as an animal protein like chicken) is more appropriate if you're eating longer before your workout.

I use 2 scoops of whey + 1 cup of oats + water.

I find almost any carb to be a good preworkout. Brown rice and oats, def are big for preworkout. I feel so much more energized if I have a nice hefty amount of carbs preworkout. And duh you are going to need some protein.

are you serious? i add chocolate whey to milk, tastes kinda like chocolate milk. i cant imagine adding it to water. one time i tried vanilla whey in water and felt sick as hell afterwards.

i got vanilla whey. i think i should of got chocolate. oh well i will finish my tub up in about a few weeks

My pre-workout shake:

Two cups skim milk
Two scoops ON whey (chocolate)
One and a half cups rolled oats (NOT instant!)

I have this 90 minutes pre-WO and love it :).
