I am beginning an 8-week stack of:
Universal Storm
Universal Shock Therapy
fish oil
multi
vitamin C
whey protein
glutamine
Amino Acids

I am currently going in to Week 4 of Max-OT
http://www.ast-ss.com/max-ot/max-ot_intro.asp

I will finish my 8-week stretch of Max-OT and then go to a more high volume approach for the last 4 weeks of the stack. This way I can get a feel for the supplements in 2 different types of training.

My nutritional plan for the 8 weeks looks as follows:
8:00 a.m.--2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, bagel
10:00 a.m.--1/2 cup oats 8 oz. skim milk
12:00--chicken breast, brown rice
3:00 p.m.--sub sandwich (steak or chicken) (around 30g protein)
5:00-5:30 p.m.--chicken breast or lean turkey or ham, veggies, OJ
8:00 p.m.--1 can tuna, 1/2 cup oats, 3 slices wheat bread
snack--yogurt
before bed--1/2 cup cottage cheese
Water--1 gallon or more per day

Supplement Plan:
Shock Therapy--30 min. pre-workout
Storm--15 min. pre-workout, 15 min. post-workout
HP 100% whey--1 scoop breakfast, 1-1.5 scoops post workout, 1 scoop middle of night
multi--twice per day w/meal
fish oil--8g per day spread out in 4 meals
GNC Amino 1000--3 breakfast, 3 post workout
Vitamin C--1000 mg @ 5-5:30 p.m.
Glutamine--4.5g @12:00, 4.5g post-workout

Nutritional Totals
Protein: 275-300g
Carbs: 400+
Fat: trying to keep it at a moderate level

Training is currently progressing very well. Trying to just focus on strength, and weights are going up every week.

Been a creatine user for about 3 years, but this is my first time using a pre-workout supp.
Will keep this updated daily.

Took first dose of Shock Therapy, and IMO it tastes like hell (wild punch kicker), but it flat out works. Took it 1/2 hour before workout and felt increase in energy about 15 min. later. Energy lasted all the way through the workout.
Took first dose of Storm 15 min. before workout, and it tastes really good (Fruit Punch). Took second dose post workout.

Workout

It's a good stack, you won't be dissapointed.

You do feel shock the first time you take it. Good energy, focus and pumps.

How were your results?
How long did you go, etc.

I am still using both of them.

Great energy, focus, pump, improved recovery. Slight increase in strength but I am currently cutting and am in a caloric deficit so any increase in strength is huge for me right now.

Anybody have any thoughts on this?

After the first week, I am impressed with the products and their effectiveness. I do like the small pump, but do to the low volume of the workouts on Max-OT, the pump is limited.
As posted in the first post, I am just working on strength right now, so weight gain and size are not a priority. Size, by mirror, has increased some as well as definition.

I do the first workout of the week on Sundays because I have basketball games on Mondays.
Anyway, today was Back and biceps.
Best day on thes stack so far. Best strength and a great pump today. It was definitely better than usual. I think I am just getting the AAKG in my system now and it is starting to kick in better. I had a similar effect when I took Nitrix. It took about two weeks for it though.

Lat Pulldowns
230 x 6 (pretty easy)
250 x 4 (personal record) 75 lbs. over bodyweight

"V" Bar Pulldowns
210 x 6
220 x 6

Best day so far, I just hope this keeps progressing the way it has been.

Again, I am off Monday. Will take storm to keep it in my system. All other supps. will stay the same on Monday.
Looking forward to Tuesday (legs and Calves). Weird, isn't it?

Do you think ST alone will increase strength? probably a little..

bdpettit
02-17-2006, 12:12 PM
ST alone would probably be similar to NO Xplode alone. I personally like ST better than NO, but results would probably be similar.

bench56
02-17-2006, 01:19 PM
Cool, I was thinking about going on Shock Therapy. But I still can't make up my mind, No-Xplode, Superpump 250, or Shock Therapy. Anyone got any suggestions??

bdpettit
02-17-2006, 04:12 PM
From my experiences thus far, I would definitely recommend ST. I have been very impressed with my focus and intensity in the gym since I have been on it. It is a cheaper alternative to NO Xplode and Superpump, and it seems to have just as good results.
YOu should definitely think about stacking it with Storm too. Both products are very affordable.

bench56
02-17-2006, 06:01 PM
Hey thanks man, I think i'll take your advise. One other thing, how are the pumps with Shock Therapy?, are they comparable to No-Xplode??

bdpettit
02-17-2006, 06:33 PM
Pumps are pretty good, although the workout I am doing does not promote a good pump anyway. I will be able to compare the pump to other products better when I switch my program to higher reps and more volume.

Spring break is next week for me. I will be lifting at my house instead of the gym at school, so exercises are limited.
This is my last full week doing Max-OT, and next week I will max to see how much progress I actually made.
Predictions:
Bench: 250-255
Squat: 360ish
Deadlift: 390-405? Would really like to put 4 plates on, but we will see next week.
