How much do you actually benefit from separating cardio and lifting by 4-5 hours? I like to go to the gym and get it all done at once, but now seriously starting to cut I would like to do what will help me lose the most weight.

It depends all on the person. Everyone is different. I personally like to put all my energy to a hard cardio workout all in one day, and lift on another. I will do Short HIIT sessions (under 15 minutes) on my lifting days for Saturday and Sundays, but this comes after lifting.

Try it, and see how it works for you. Remember to give it time (2-3 weeks) to see results. This is all about what works best for you. What you see one person doing, might not work for you, or fit your schedule :)
