i lift weights currently cutting...so im doing 12 reps...i was wondering how long i should do cardio after...to lose these extra pounds...right now im doing 20-21 minutes after my muscle workout

As little as possible while still dropping 0.5-2 pounds per week.

you should do cardio and weight training at least 4 hours apart from each other

agree with both of the above. your could even do 15 minute walk/sprint intervals. switch it up every week, or every other day.

You don't have to increase reps to cut - Vary your rep range as normal and stay heavy it helps preserve muscle.

If you insist on doing cardio after training then 20 - 30 minutes is fine. Try and have everything wrapped up within 90 minutes then get your post workout shake down.

Its your diet that will really determine the results.

lets say you have a 4 day split, mon, tues, thurs, fri. What about just having 2 days of cardio say like on Wednesday and Sunday? For like half an hour or so?

i got food poisoning tuesday and i was in bed for 4 days...i lost 9lbs...but not in a good sense...this sucks...my body feels like complete fat...i feel like i lost nothing but muscle...and i still am not well enough to return to the gym

Get well first. Stay in there. Sometimes it takes several weeks to notice Any kind of change.

well its been a while im now 182.5 and 17%bf which is pretty good for me i was down to 15%bf but i gained a lil weight from my bulking i was @ 159lbs in july then i bulked...so yah worked out
