The past few nights I've boiled 8 eggs and i've eaten 4 whole eggs and 4 of the whites. I usually throw in some natty pb as well but i'm out. Are eggs ok for pre-bed?

Every night before I hit the sack

6 egg whites
Miscellar Casein shake

and if I'm trying to gain weight I'll eat some brown rice and a couple slices of flank steak....

I'll be the dissenting voice here. How many eggs do you eat a day? Young or not, I doubt you should have that much fat and cholesterol at one time, right before you sleep, every day for your pre-bed meal. Perhaps, try one or two whole eggs, with as many whites as you need, and some kind of nut butter or oil (like flax or olive oil) before bed.

You get a greater variety of nutrients without all the saturated fat and cholesterol of whole eggs.
