Like, 2 weeks ago they were in second place in the Central, now they're five points out of the last playoff spot.

The NHL does that to a lot of teams. With the salary cap and everything, every team is fair and any team can beat any other team. Especially in the Western Conference, with such a close race, a streak of 2 losses could move a team as low as 4-5 spots.

The Blues have a pretty decent team, though goaltending is still an issue. With healthy draft choices, good prospects and Brad Boyes playing the best hockey in his career, they're definately better than they were a few years ago. Hopefully Andy MacDonald can play the level of hockey he did in Anaheim and the Blues can pick up a few good free agents at the deadline.

actually there goaltending has been pretty good.

They can't score. That's the issue.

NEGGED!

well look at it this way. If the rumor you heard about Selanne pans out, that there will put you guys into the Playoffs.

And atleast your team still has a shot. the Oil are pretty much slim and nil. And Slim just left Edmonton.
