View Full Version : Want to lose fat in butt in thighs without losing upper body muscle mass

All my fat lies in my butt and thighs. I have been working out for almost a year now and have only been doing upper body workouts... my lower body is not toned at all and is mostly fat. I was wondering what the best way to tone my lower body?

I have already started doing squats and deadlifts, since after visiting this site I realize those are the two best workouts.

Though I still have a fairly small upper body and cannot spare to lose any more weight.. I am 160 pounds. I still want to gain weight... my long term goal is to be a cut 180 pounds.

squats, lunges & leg curls all for reps between 12 & 20 will do the trick. and deadlifts of course but not on the same day.hyper-extensions and ab work are also a must and never to be neglected.Richie

Run all the fat off, and keep it off........then try to gain muscle. It will make you feel and look better in the long run. Just eat right.
