View Full Version : Starting Fat Loss This Week.....

First off, this is a great board and i'm glad I stumbled upon it!
I have been determined to put myself on the right track for months now in order to drop some pounds. I've prepped myself the last couple of weeks by doing some light cardio and cutting back on the junk. Now i'm ready to kick it. I'm about 6'3 and 260 pounds. I feel like I would be most comfortable around 225 pounds. I'm still carrying alot of extra weight from my college football days which sadly passed me by and unfortunately my old training was geared towards putting on weight, not losing it! Not to mention some of that hard weightroom work has turned to flab. So i'm a bit of a newbie to the whole shedding bodyfat plan. I've read the sticky threads up top and found some really good tips which I will certainly be using. I hope to keep ya'll updated. First off, can someone provide me with a practical method of detemrining body fat % accurately? Thanks!
