I used this on my Steak tonight.
Probably good for low carbpasta like the Miricle noodles I plan on trying but here goes:

On med to high heat let sizzle:
1 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoons Olive oil
1 tablespoons garlic or challots

Add

8 fluid ounces heavy whipping cream
salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/8 cup blue cheese (optional)
1 egg yolk

Allow to reduce on medium heat, stirring regularly (8 minutes)
Allow 5 minute to cool and thicken.

Holy crap this is amazing!

Some people add 1/4 cup Rum and set on fire for a few minutes to reduce..

I made something really simliar to this, it does kick major A**. Only problem is i usually make to much and i end up drinking it :D
